    As of this morning weather.com is showing a “likely risk of severe weather today” with 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms around game time in Starkville. Tomorrow has 100% chance of rain. Sunday looks to be rain free.

    When I heard how pi$$ed Schloss was at Gasparino for getting doubled up on a line drive last night I thought we might see this- todays line up with no Gasparino.

    Few things I’ve noticed so far this season. Schloss clearly doesn’t have the rule about no facial hair like Pierce did. Schloss wants players to control their emotions. Grubbs and Harrison were big emotional guys on the mound last season. Completely different this year. Schloss doesn’t wait hoping a player will come around like Pierce did. If a player like Rodriguez isn’t performing he will replace them. Pitching is the same.
