    I don't ever remember seeing or hearing of numbers like this. Catastrophic situation for some folks in Jamaica. Eastern Cuba and Bahamas are next in her path.

    This is why I don’t watch much MLB until this time of year because they really don’t try half the time. It’s just not fun to watch for me. I think he would struggle with communication/motivation. Big difference between college players (who are, at some level getting better paid) but not millionaires for the most part and a whole team of self entitled millionaires. But again he’s a smart guy and knows this going in. If this happens he will have a lot of eyes on him seeing how it goes.

    @Blake Munroe heard any news on this? Crazy to even think this could happen but if so it could obviously open up a lot of talented players to the portal. Could the Horns benefit?     I may be off on this but seems like Schloss and staff are now honing in on their “type of players”. The one thing that always jumped out at me with Rerick was he always played emotional. He was really fiery when doing good but when he didn’t have it his emotions were clearly keeping him from being able to get pasted the rough start. That’s not the type of player that Schloss likes. I’m spitballing here but maybe Schloss and Weiner didn’t feel like he could get passed the emotional aspect.

    Borba has room for improvement no doubt. I think Borba just needs to be in a competition battle which looks like he could be with A Rod again but A Rod will hopefully have a healed hand and an offseason with the staff.

    I’m pretty pumped to see that many names in the portal. Wish those players the best of luck. Looking forward to the next 2-3 weeks to see how things turn out.

    This just me speculating but I noticed his hitting really tanked after he started getting benched for what was assumed to be interior behavior issues. I think he got butt hurt for being benched and that affected his on field performance.

    I personally had a blast and truly enjoyed watching this team this season. I never would’ve guessed a 44-14 season. It was definitely disappointing how they finished but keeping the big picture in mind it was one helluva season that included series wins over agricultural and mechanical and boomer along with a conference title. Schloss and his staff are really good and better the future is bright.

    The bright spot so far is Saunier. He’s been solid. Not great but has done a solid job on the mound tonight.

    Yep he’s probably not gonna come back in late season form. I’m expecting some rust which can take a while to shake off.

    You’re spot on with their resilience. It’s at a level I don’t remember seeing in a long time. The coaches are doing an amazing job too. I sure hope it continues.
