    I think in fairness it is more of what were they aware of tbh. Been a year of investigation. Legitimately may not have known everything. But I would assume his Dad knew if anything was going on and his son was being investigated. That is the real question to me, and if he did and didn't alert A&M before the analyst hire then no sympathy for him at alland what is coming. Lots of questions here no doubt. The other FB question is can Trooper continue in his RB/Associate HC role effectively. On the recruiting trail with this out there etc? But none of that matters as a young woman suffered a horrible death and her/their child. Innocent until of course but... Tragic🙏

    There will be qb's always for Sark it seems. But I do believe with Quinn coming back, which most did not expect btw changes things. Guys want to play. So does Arch start at least 2 years after Quinn? That moves the timeline even further back for KJ and others I would suspect.Sure you gotta compete anywhere you go , but NIL and playing time matters. Will see🤘

    I'm sure in his mind he believes that. But he was doing under the table NIL way before it was legalized come on now. His advantage was dwindling, but this woe as me stuff gets old. Wish a Representative had the courage to ask him about his illegal payments knowledge to his players under oath. Then let's talk about solutions, instead of blaming kids and parents for your advantage being taken away by the courts.Still he is the best but always helps when you buy the best , just saying ..🤘

    Jarvon Coles LB/Safety was killed at a party last night apparently just a bystander . Prayers to his family. Another GPNS LB Charles Ross committed to LSU yesterday.Then this terrible news. He was a player for sure. Only 5'9 but his coach said if he was 6'2 he would be recruited by everyone. 4.1 GPA as well. RIP

    Glad things are moving now. But just read Zion Williams to LSU this Saturday. Then Spring Game , then Official visit in June. That's 3, and every time he talks about Bo it is nothing but love . Follow the visits ha! Kenny needs to camp out in Lufkin and carry Choice, Banks, and Gilbert for sure🤣🤘

    Kelce gonna blackball him 🤣. Obviously he doesn't listen to her music. Good interview though. Think he was kinda unfairly criticized last year. Seems like a pretty good kid and wish him the best. Look at his Texas #'s for his career. Pretty elite company.🤘🤘

    Nice catch on the article. Texas Pro Day on the 20th should help more for guys like Whitt and Ford and Robinson. Only thing I see that is crazy is the score for Xavier #18 in wr. Guarantee 17 aren't going before him but I understand about rankings. Think he moved to a 1st round guy or at least high 2nd round. Would Love to see Murphy Mitchell Sweat and Xavier hit that 1st round. I know I'm greedy ha, but those guys + Sanders should be high. Hopefully the rest gets drafted, but I bet all 11 make a team and maybe Sanborn punting🤘

    He was awesome and miss his kind of professionalism. Never yelling and screaming to say look at me, or make the story about him. He gave good solid information in a classy fair way. Not many left like him or John Clayton. May they both RIP!

    So for Texas Pro Day on the 20th , I know the 11 combine guys + Punter Sanborn may participate. The only other guy I can think of is Jett Bush if he is interested. Didn't think of anymore that might work out Am I overlooking anybody? Just curious , seems we have had more to work out in the past that weren't invited. Oh well it's almost here and Spring Ball 1st practice is the 19th🤘

    Don't know enough on baseball to comment on Pierce and his future. What I do know is going to the SEC is going to be much tougher in most sports than the Big 12. Football, baseball for sure, track for sure etc. Ready to see how we respond in all the sports, but gonna be brutal in quite a few of them compared to the Big 12 imo.

    Throwing in the white towel finally!! Meet with the Attorney General' s huh? Settlement? Nah they will try and find a way to keep losing cases, yet paying millions to their lawyers🤣. Tennessee broke em, and the SEC and BIG 10 may just bury them as well real soon!!

    Still hope if a great Pro Day, but not the same imo as showing the skills at the combine. Still think he can be an asset somewhere but more than likely the free agent route. Maybe could have made himself more $ this weekend, but sure he takes care of his NIL. His future is bright if not football no doubt.

    I blame the guys that hired him. Remember we had a President that was clueless on athletics.Remember him jumping on the plane to help hire an OC for Strong omg . An interim AD that was by trade a lawyer and awesome UT ex but out of his element, and should have never been the AD that long. That set us back as well, not his fault. So no alignment like we have now. We all know how it would have ended pretty much. So lucky to have Elife, CDC, Hartzell, and Sark now. I don't even wanna think how behind we would be if we kept him much longer. There are reasons no big time teams tried to hire him then , or now I'll just leave it at that. The stories are out there .

    Wish it was so easy to pick up 2 DL this late. Only real hope there is a Michigan guy or 2 jumps in. And then a bidding war. Usually don't get great ones this late at that position. Just hope Baker can develop what we have and go from there.Losing those 2 great ones and J. Ford was always gonna be tough to replace to that level. We seem better on the edges and back end though. Great notes thanks!

    I could only find 2 out of 33 that confines that but you could be right. I just don't see anymore than Arkansas and .Missouri at the moment. Most others seem to be anywhere they want to sign. It is all pretty crazy but fully expect Texas to address the Law again if need be. It is just all these court rulings and cases who knows what comes next ha!

    From my reading of it I only see Missouri and Arkansas with in state stuff. There are currently 33 states that allow and others considering. Most read that they can get the $ no matter where they sign. Again not sure if it is a big disadvantage yet, but can see it coming if we don't amend it . But that would next legislative session so good luck between now and then ha. May not affect UT as much considering our model of doing it, but I bet other schools like Tech would love to be able to offer asap to kids in state. Good discussion and who knows things change so fast just hold on tight ha.

    Yeah I can see both sides here tbh. As a member of THSCA I disagree and believe they should get that right. Many other states have amended their laws to allow. I agree on a smaller scale we might be ok, Wingo as an example, but larger I'm not sure. Interesting debate and your points are valid. But man if a kid can get that $ and offer early, I think it puts us and all Texas schools at a disadvantage. Who knows. Hell as crazy as things are I wouldn't be surprised to see a Texas athlete sue over this law. Why not everybody else is🤣🤘
