    Every day that Royal stays with us drives the LSU Swampers crazy. All their so called Insiders said he wouldn't take his OV here. Mom had to make him haha. Then flipping on his Birthday etc. Now it's will will get him by December lol . I love seeing them squirm. Seems their Brewster momentum is gone as well. I'm not naive, they will hound Royal forever.And he could flip of course. The pressure will only get crazier. But so far so good.👍

    Interesting to see what litigation will come if this passes both Chambers. As it stands now Football gets 75% of Rev Share out of 18 million, or 13.5 million. If the percentage stays the same then almost 17 million in Retention $. Total of 30-31 million. Again percentages could change in the future if this passes. Now MBB gets 15% or 2.7 million. WBB gets 5% 900K, and all others sports 900K in Rev Share. Be interesting to see how it works. And yeah athletes in the future got screwed it seems. No collective bargaining etc. Can still get NIL deals that don't count toward the Rev Share , but seems that will be much harder now. Seems those Learfield, Nike deals etc will count on Rev Share going forward. Will see , because things can definitely change in the House.

    At least in the Senate the tide may have turned again. According to Dellenger the 2 conferences are close to supporting it now. Of course still a long way to go.     It is not matter of if but when. A no brainer. Again our NIL part is being funded by a few big donors. Not talking about Learfield etc. Donor fatigue is real. And to leave anywhere from 20 -40 million out of the budget yearly for a decade would be ridiculous. And despite what CDC said, things change. And CDC is not a ridiculous AD. And I'm sure he understands that. And probably in the works as we speak. .

    Donor fatigue. It is coming in some shape or form. Too much $ not to . Especially if the PSA ever passes. The new cap will be 48.8 million , not 21.3 anymore. We will see , but Texas can command the best deal out there no doubt.

    I have a feeling even with changes both conferences will withhold support. To get a better bill. We will see. But Congress is notorious for slipping things in a Bill last minute. Or amendments oted on the floor etc. Don't blame both Conferences to say give us more time. They can't pass without their support anyway.

    The Michigan Boards agree they will make.m a deal , just that was a phony tweet by that guy. Reading other Boards it seems all are accepting of this , because the $ matters now. Dell is the logical choice for UT but whoever it eventually is , we will surpass ND OSU deal one would think.

    Well Dellenger latest is the SEC presidents had a call and got a Summary of the revision changes. But took no action until they see the full language of the bill. He gave no hint at the revisions etc. Devil in the details, so supposedly tomorrow.

    Dellenger just tweeted the Majority Leader sounding more optimistic. Thune Said headed in right direction. Which can only mean headed in Big 10/ SEC demands haha. Maria Cantwell oh never mind not worth it😂

    Agree . Seems Learfield has gotten all their deals for UT through the Clearinghouse. I read that when they responded to Kessler trying to get Associated Entities more leeway. Believe he didn't get that yet, but is still trying with the original judge on House Settlement. Assume Nike and others we use have gotten deals through. So Texas should be in a good place, but still see litigation coming on that issue , again depending on what is in the Bill.

    From Dellenger- 25 million retention pool $ + 5 mil for women. So 51 mil overall.But the kicker is they want to close loopholes on Associated Entities /MMR/ Sponsors etc. Worried about circumventing the Cap. Seems that will be a Court challenge for sure from athletes . But the bill isn't finalized yet so the devil is in the details. And even if the stars align in the Senate, good luck in the House. That's a whole different game with time ticking away .
