    Texas Rev Share comes from 18 million not 20.5. The other 2.5 was used for scholarships they added. Breakdown is: Football- 13.5 MBB 2.7 WBB 900K All other Sports 900K So again easy to figure out we do a lot of 3rd Party , Texas One Fund etc. Really is amazing the how we do it to be competitive in so many sports.

    Pretty sure it can be a combination of both Rev Share and 3rd party NIL. May be some guys getting only RS , others both. Texas only has 13.5 million in Rev Share for football. So easy to see 3rd party does a lot of business if our payroll is in the 30-40 million range. And those 3rd party deals as of now still have to clear the Clearinghouse etc. And yeah have read monthly pay. And as stated above some signing bonuses etc. Be fascinating one day to see how it is really done, how each school figures out their path. Texas One Fund seems very well ran , and dependable as well as compliant.

    The real business starts now. The behind the scenes lobbying and amendments to the bill on the floor etc. The Big 10 and SEC will use all their chips now no doubt. They say they will bring it to the floor , but without 60 votes Thune won't bring it imo. Sure the 2 leagues want to stop it in the Senate. But if not the House is a different place , and see no way it gets done there anytime soon. We are all guessing, but I'd put my $ on no , or a very different version at the least.

    They did change the anti expansion last night to 700 million revenue and that now would include the ACC and Big 12, not just Big 10 and SEC. Sure that is not gonna make some folks in the ACC happy. Would mean Miami, FSU , Clemson, UNC are stuck where they are. As well with many other teams. Good luck with that. And no changes to the TV pooling rights. Gonna be fun to watch , but still say in the end DOA.

    Gonna be interesting because they need 60 votes. 53 Rep 45 Dem and 2 Ind in the Senate. There were two Republicans that voted against today and Tuberville has already said he would vote no. They may have a shot at 60, which I never thought they would. But the House is a whole different matter. And I don't see that happening period. The Majority Leader Scalise from Louisiana has already said no to it in its form . Congressional Black Caucus against . Much harder to pass there . But who knows . They go on recess in August so would be warp speed. Odds on that 🤣

    Pretty funny stuff. Ross Dellinger just tweeted that Tech told Sorsby he couldn't play there anymore. Was in the filing by Kessler to dismiss the ruling etc. His agent basically said the same on the radio. Poor Tech catching it from all sides still. 🤣 Thought it was mutual though lol.

    Appreciate the take. Just all the noise started last night and Sales being on Campus that turned into an OV for a couple days. Of course LSU was gonna turn up the heat. We all knew this would be a battle. Good to hear all sides views and then see how it plays out. Should be a great recruiting weekend with both those guys here🤟

    Yeah that is what I saw as well. And this stuff started last night on their boards . And gotten crazier by the hour. Like I said in another post, I trust sources here and on Texas side. But man with recruiting who knows. Could just be to drive up the price etc. Battle Royal is definitely on🤣

    LSU Boards going crazy about Royal flipping and even cancelling Texas Visit. Last look the visit may still happen according to their Mod , as his Mom feels he should visit. That is from the story I read . FWIW as who really knows. LSU was never gonna go quietly, but this smoke started last night. Hopefully just bluster but these days who knows. But definitely trust sources here and elsewhere . Just the game these days !

    Finished in the top 6. 2nd in SEC. Sure we wanted more but losing that first game makes it nearly impossible to win it all. Georgia had our# period. Hats off to them as much as I wanna finally beat them on the big stage FB or BB. But yes very disappointed because their pitching staff is not that good. But they have us scouted well, and know what we can't hit. Still a fun year and now fb 24/ 7 almost here🤟

    So on Sunday according to Ross Dellinger's Yahoo story today, Tech officials and Board met with Sorsby. Would still back him etc. Then the devastating Big 12 lawsuit came in the middle of the night, thanks to Paxton opening that door. Even Kessler stayed quiet all day. So Tech was still willing to triple down on Sunday. Then decided to mutually part ways on Monday. All the bluster, making themselves a national joke. Only to cave ! Absolutely hilarious.

    It seems the Big 12 got a hell of a lawyer and firm to handle this. They haven't made any decisions, just everything is on the table. This case is to just affirm the Conference has the right to adhere their rules bylaws, as all universities signed and agreed to abide etc. They will win this no doubt. Then will see where it goes on punishment if that time comes. May never get there , as Sorsby has 1 week to Supplemental Draft Could easily see Tech paying him $ , and let or nudge him to go . A lot of consequences ahead to die on this hill. Will see !

    So let me get this straight. Paxton and TT threatening the Big 12 gave them the basis for filing this today. Absolutely love it🤣🤣 Just simply asking can they enforce their bylaws, while letting TT know what may be coming etc. Brilliant !!

    Just try to get one Monday and finish as high as possible at least competing. No way this team and staff can win it all coming from the loser bracket. But still a good season , just a frustrating way to lose . The flaws have been there for all to see, but finishing in the top 6 or better is about right. The program will still be in the hunt for the future!

    If Blackwood doesn't fall we could have finished high enough to clinch it tonight. I believe we are still good no matter tomorrow because Stanford would damn near have to win the Meet and they can't. But would have been nice mathematically tonight. Coach Flo has done well in the past, but programs are on a downward trajectory here lately. No way Texas should only get 10 points in this meet . Women won't be any better tomorrow.

    I want the best advantages possible. So 11 at Tenn is great. No night game. We have 3 early games and we practice early all year check! 4 possible night games at home check! So all in all not bad. And if LSU isn't doing great maybe get them in the afternoon, not at night. Tough schedule so looking for any slight bit of help. But understand wanting Tenn and LSU at night from a fan perspective 🤟

    Hmm Ole Joey cancelled news conference today in Houston. Just gonna speak to their TD Club only. Need leaked video for sure lol. Joey feeling that heat from everybody , but afraid to meet the Press. Love it!
