  1. Texas isn't flipping Lee. We haven't seen any big time flips for Texas in a while. Plus Michigan's season never fell apart.
  2. Well that sucks. Part of the reason I dislike NIL. I've no problem with players getting paid but it makes recruiting seem like a moot point most of the time. Might as well just come in and say here's how much we're willing to pay, let us know lol. I mean seriously, what is the point of relationship building when most guys are just chasing the bag?
  3. I think it being at home makes a big difference. Texas A&M D isn't that great and I think/hope our pass rush is better. They do have some dudes there but it's been proven all year long it's not as good as last year, similar for us. This one is going to be a high scoring game because our D can't stop anyone, apparently. Gimme 45-38 Texas.
  4. Traylor would be a good hire for them. They need someone who can recruit Texas.
  5. What do you like about him? Seems like he's got good size and production at a place like Michigan State. Might have to go check out some of his tape.
  6. Funny thing is that Arky has the big money guys, but I don't think any of them are interested in Arky football lol.
  7. It looks like SMU is going to flip Max Wright from us.
  8. Guys I think he was talking specific players not just position needs/wants lol.
  9. What room do they have in the WR room? You will likely return all 4 starters. You're already paying the current crop of Fr too much and then you have the next group of Fr inbound soon. Where is there room to add a WR? I'm not trying to be a d*ck or anything but there is no point in going after a WR unless you lose a bunch of these guys. Especially with rev sharing kicking in next year, how does that affect things?
  10. It's just the way it is, especially with positions of actual need elsewhere. All 4 starting WR's should be back and then you have the current Fr and then the incoming Fr. I could see a few guys leaving but not enough to justify taking somebody there. Let alone the one everyone wants in Coleman.
  11. Unless some of the guys in the WR room leave, we're not getting anyone in the portal at WR.
  12. 1 RB 2-3 IOL 1 DT/NT 1 Edge or LB 1 CB 1-2 S 1 K 1 P
  13. I guess we'll see how Kibble, Coleman twins and Christian go. If Goosby comes back, my guess is they give Brooks a full off-season training at G instead of just throwing him in there mid game. Maybe they see if Cojoe comes back if he would want to move inside? Don't really know. See if you can portal a few guys for competition.
  14. I like this kid, should take a few years to fill out and get ready but overall a good take. Him and the RB we got yesterday are great takes.
  15. Somehow I completely skipped over that post lol. Thank you.
  16. So they leaked before and he was still found to have done no wrong doing? That doesn't seem like that would fly if the evidence was clear as day.....I don't know what to think, I'll have to go do some more research myself.
  17. Okay we can't just take very decommit and portal OL that shows up lol. It looks like we did have an offer out to him, but so did every other big time program. If he's from Cali, I probably look to see him land at a program around there. USC, Oregon, Washington, etc. Maybe even Utah or BYU.
  18. I'm not a big soccer fan, let alone women's soccer, but I had been following a long with a user on reddit that was posting about the games and it seemed like we were struggling big time this year. Wish the old coach all the best and hope we hire a good replacement. I see a lot of people talking about the UCLA HC? Can anyone give a brief overview of why that is a better hire than what we had?
  19. But as I said, what I read is that he was found to have done no wrong doing in a court of law? Was that before or after the texts leaked?
  20. I don't have a problem with the hire, don't have a dog in the fight, so to speak. From what I've read about the situation, wasn't he found to have no wrong doing in a court of law? I mean the University is the one who covered it up and they pretty much got a slap on the wrist and kept it pushing. Briles is the one who bore the brunt of the punishment and was scapegoated, along with several other key figures. In saying all that, he deserves a chance at redemption and should be heavily monitored. That's just what I've read about the situation, so I could be wrong.
  21. Yeah but Arkansas' D is flat out terrible lol. It didn't look good the previous week against a Georgia team that isn't that good defensively.
  22. Well, does he also have better weapons around him? That's important, too. Compared to the last couple of years, there is a significant drop in talent with the previous guys to these guys.
  23. Not to try and compare too much, but he's also statistically having a better first year starting than Ewers, although Ewers was younger when he first started. I'm proud of the way he's battled through the season. Now we just hope Sark can put the pieces around him to elevate to the next level.
