This is a good find, CJ. Also shout out to you for having the gall to question Sark in the media. As to your post, I don't know that it really means much. They had a ton of yards against OU but what does any of that matter when 9 of your possessions end in 3 & outs and 2 turnovers? One of which gifted them 7 points and another that helped them seal the game. To me either Sark will figure it out or he won't. I love the discussions around this and it feels like we've been having them for years. That's the reality of it.

Well said Gerry. Arch and Sark need to figure it out, because they've struggled all year. I don't care about the almost 400 yards when you had 9 possessions go for 3 & out or turnovers. 13 3 & outs in two games is inexcusable. No one expects the O to score every drive but playing complimentary football means giving your D a rest. I'm not really sure why Sark is so stubborn to keep running his "NFL scheme". This isn't the NFL and your scheme didn't work in the NFL either, it's why you got fired from the Falcons. You don't need to over complicate it in the college game. Take what is there, use your better players to your advantage. Get your QB in rhythm. We all love the deep ball and no one said you can't take your shots but look what happens when you simplify it and let Arch play his game. He moved the ball down field with ease and scored. Also Cooper is the best RB on the team. Him and Smothers need to get the majority of the carries. Brown is just not it and should be used sparingly. Bishop needs to be out there more, in place of Mosley most likely or if not put more 10 personnel out there. Use your athletes to spread out defenses and cause them nightmares.

Turns out we just traded one great DC for another great DC and the offense actually looks worse. I'm honestly baffled even to what the issue is. They've played maybe a couple of quarters of good offensive football through 4 games now. Excluding the Texas State game because they seemed to click there but it's Texas State. I'm just lost for word son how we spent all this money on O to "improve" it and somehow it looks objectively worse than last year.

If not for the O and special teams this defense might've legit given up 3-6 points total. If not for the big 40 yard run OU would've had under 200 total yards. I think the D still has things to improve but they've once again carried this team and are 100% not the reason we lost.

One thing I'm surprised about is the lack of turnovers by Muschamp's D. They would've had a couple today if not for some untimely errors. Considering how turnover prone Mateer was. Also thought they would sack him more with how bad their OL is.

PK against Ohio State gave up 21 in the playoff game in '24, where the offense fumbled the game away with a chance to tie it. Last year on the road, held them to 14 points (7 if Guillbeau turned his head and made a play on the ball). PK certainly had his issues, I don't deny that. But he 100% got scapegoated by Sark. As it turns out, Sark was full of it.

This was about as tough a loss as I can remember. Because OU was inferior, like not even in our league. Yet we let them hang around instead of going for the throat. Something Sark lacks. You gifted them points and still they hung around. I don't put any of this on the D, they dominated this game and basically gift wrapped a Texas win. Only for the O and special teams to pee all over it. There was several penalties on D that sucked but some of them were so egregious I just can't with it. The refs seemed determined to call anything on that drive to keep OU in the game. This has been a problem all year but no one wanted to hear it because "well a win is a win" and now it's a loss, to your rival who absolute sucks.

It's not Flood's scheme, it's Sark's. But on the other note, I love that for Baxter. Was a shame we had to move on from him but he just could never stay healthy at Texas.

Yet you want to bring up Herman and Strong? Like that should excuse anything Sark has done...The fact is the O is once again not good. We don't need to go back to failed HC's to talk about the current failures of Sark.

Just curious did you just watch this game instead of trying to point to a HC who hasn't been here since 6 years a go and another who hasn't been here since 10 years ago.

The defense plays hard football. Every other phase of this team does not.

I'm just giving my opinion but he really does think he's a great offensive mind and QB guru. I've yet to actually see this. He's had two of the highest graded 5 star QB's in his tenure and neither of them have seemed to progress. Mind you Ewers was a 3 year starter and he was still making the same mistakes he had made in year 1, in year 3. It just is what it is. The OTF staff have said similar before. That it's not that they disagree, they just know that Sark won't let anyone else call plays while he's HC at Texas.

Don't get me wrong, PK had his issues. But he pretty much carried Sark during those two semi final runs. He had some bad defensive play last year but he could hardly be called the biggest issue. We hire an arguably even better DC and somehow the issues are even worse. Which tells me Sark wasn't babysitting anything, he's just not as good as he thinks he is. I don't expect it matters what CDC says, Sark is adamant that his O is great and that he can both be the HC and OC. He won't change his mind on that.

What should've been a 24-3 win, if not 24-10 win because of some terrible officiating. Ended up in a 27-24 loss because of bad offensive coaching and bad play by your QB. Also bad special teams play all around. We fired PK because he was supposedly the issue. Got another elite DC and the same issues are still persistent.

It looks like depending on the severity/grade it could be 1 week to 6 months. But I haven't personally experienced this injury. The worst injury I've had playing sports (Rugby League) was getting stomped in the eye with a metal stud from someone's boot (twice) and I got knee'd in the chin which push my teeth up into my gums and I was spurting blood out of my mouth lol.

North Crowley put the hurt on Hachie. North Shore wins a thriller vs Summer Creek. Lake Travis falls short to Cedar Ridge. Pieper had a comeback win against Judson. Hutto blew a big lead against Cedar Park Permian whooped Lee. Longview survives a scare against Rockwall Lewisville trounces Guyer (Guyer turned the ball over 5 times). I'll say this now, I don't see anyone beating North Crowley for the D2 state title. I expect they'll face Katy. For D1, my guess is Allen vs North Shore. At the lower levels Gilmer upsets Pleasant Grove Argyle continues to look impressive beating Lovejoy. Not sure if Stephenville will go back to back, but they've been putting together some good wins against quality opponents. That's enough from me.

If he really has learned and he's still here when Coach Sark wants to leave, I'd take a look at him but his two previous stops with any lack of focus on the O was disappointing. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance for a job like Texas but I'm not sure he'd be interested in taking a middle of the road type of job.

Against. He's been a great DC, not so great HC. He makes the mistake a lot of defensive minded HC's make and that is not having good OC's.
