  1. Let's go greatest films. I'm a Western fan, so it's going to be all Westerns. Rio Bravo (1959) The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) High Plains Drifter (1973) Unforgiven (1992) No Country for Old Men (2007)
  2. Northern Exposure, Seinfeld, Cheers, Deadwood. Disparity of twenty years, but it's all more than twenty years ago
  3. Why would an idiot like JR Smith talk to Kobe? Like Satan talking to Jesus.
  4. After listening to America Horse With no Name, I listened to Isaac Hayes Shaft. Both were from a radio station in Estelline, TX.
  5. Five day Camping trip Palo Duro Canyon May 1991 when I was 19. Pansies got nothing on me.
  6. Since I can't stand Cuban and Mavs fans, this is my all time favorite. Only player in NBA history to outscore an entire team through three quarters. This is why the Mavs will eternally suck ass.
  7. Mikey and Kobe is as good as it gets. These chumps today can't hold a candle. They literally have nothing in terms of work ethic, clutch play and pure balls.
  8. That again is true as far as it goes. Kobe was more skilled. He was a better shooter. He had a better handle. He had more post moves. He couldn't hold the ball as strong at the rim. That's the only thing that made Mikey better. But that was as big thing.
  9. "Based on historical performance and accolades, Kobe Bryant is often considered the greatest 22-year-old NBA player, having helped lead the Lakers to another title while demonstrating elite versatility and scoring in the 2000-01 season. Other top contenders for best 22-year-old include LeBron James (2007) and Tim Duncan (1999). " Mikey ain't listed. Now we got 25 year old pansies wanting to play college. This is why sports sucks now.
  10. Chumps are always gonna be chumps, especially when their coach is.
  11. True as far as it goes. Kobe never said publicly he was better than Michael. He almost certainly wasn't when you talk about the peak. Kobe did tell him he could kick his ass when he was 20 years old. I don't know of anything else similar. The thing is that there have been probably 40-50 players more physically gifted than Kobe as basketball players in the history of the world. There might be two or three that were actually better than him at his best. There weren't any who were tougher or worked harder. There weren't any more technically skilled.
  12. We saw why Bucky ball is gimmick ball. As I said before, you can't use gimmicks to beat real teams. Florida has a real frontcourt, and even though their starting guards can't shoot, they don't have to shoot well when the opposing coach thinks you can trot out a 6'5" center and use backcourt "pressure" to hang with one of the best frontcourts in the country.
  13. @Gerry Hamilton Is the poor post defense going to get us in the tournament? I know UConn can shoot it, but I haven't watched them to know if they can score in the post and force turnovers.
  14. The problem is that Kirby constantly spouts about "relationships," "discipline" and "doing things the right way." Truth is that he's not much different than Barry Switzer.
  15. I don't really think anything can compare to telling Michael Jordan you can kick his ass.
  16. Talking about chumps. CDC and Texas hosed Beard. Reminds me of eating pie at Tippins in Carrrolton, Tx in 1994.
  17. I don't think you guys understand. Kobe told Mikey he was better. He was. I don't think you can get more than that. You tell MJ you're better than him. And you are. I don't know what to say other than "Amen, brother." Nash sucks. Dirk sucks more than anyone.
  18. If you want big improvement next season, better hope for a point guard. Casual basketball fans understand the game about as much they understand thermonuclear dynamics. Like goobers talking about Luka as some kind of savior. Reminds me of one of my favorite film lines from Revenge. "They're no doubt expecting a common, reliable stud, which he ain't."
  19. Best player in the world at 21 years old.
  20. Pitino said Jerry West told him the best player in the 1996 NBA draft was Kobe. He believed. Kobe was 17. All these "freshman" that are supposed to great for this year's NBA draft are already 19. Kobe was killing San Antonio in the playoffs when he was 19.
  21. Mavs fans are the dumbest in the world.
  22. Mavs fans aren't the smartest in the world by a long shot. We talkin goobers here. Bout like Aggies.
  23. What are we talking about? Don't care how much they spent this year. We talkin billions to millions when it comes down to it. Let's go back to 1996 when Kentucky actually mattered. If you based your view on what was then, you'd take Delk, Walker, etc. But who was really gonna be the best? Not Kentucky goobers. Even Pitino told you who was the best that draft night.
  24. OKAY: Better jobs than Kentucky in the SEC: Texas Florida Auburn This be like Kobe vs phony white boy MVPs for Nash and Nowitzki in the 2000s.
  25. On Kentucky: Calipari is and was a used car salesman, recruiting shyster. No one in basketball thinks he could outcoach a real high school guy. That's why he continuously lost with more talent. That's why Kentucky hasn't been real since Pitino. Their fan base is rotten.
