  1. Are we looking at about 8 additions? We're -4 now on scholarships, and another 4 or so would be expected to portal out.
  2. Love the move to the SEC, but access is a bit lower than it was. The app isn't very comprehensive yet. Thanks for giving us a summary, CJ.
  3. I hear he got a tenured professorship as his NIL.
  4. Yikes. 44 PPG with 3 spots left. We're going to need some really good additions.
  5. Opportunities to extend the lead. It seems like that's a real difference maker for winning teams. Stretching the lead by an additional score at as many opportunities as possible. If you're up by 7 and go 0-3 on the next 3 drives, that's a huge failure to me. Make that lead 21+ points and put in the dagger.
  6. We've hired their coaches. They can have ones that didn't pan out here. Not a big deal to me.
  7. I still can't believe we haven't found a WR1 in the portal to play with Arch. Seems like we should have to turn them away at the door.
  8. It sounds like someone at ESPN doesn't know our roster well.
  9. Ohio state has the best WR room in the country coming back. No comparison really. That offense is going to be salty no matter who is coaching. I don't know what Georgia has. The guys on OTF are talking right now about 2026. It's clear that we'll be better in '26 than '25. This isn't really controversial in my view.
  10. I don't see how you can take nearly the entire OL, DT, WR starters, RB, TE, and DB losses and just say yeah, we can replace NFL guys with unproven players and be just as good. Arch will be fine, but he doesn't have any difference makers around him yet. Next year those young players will have talent + experience, but this year will be a growth year IMO.
  11. I think that's next year. This year doesn't really seem like we're going to be at that level.
  12. ⬆️That seems pretty arrogant. I think I might use that as motivation/focus for today’s game.
  13. A lot will be on Arch. Very little proven explosive playmakers otherwise. Maybe Wingo if he can be more consistent. Can younger guys develop into that? Sure. But not much proven explosiveness on the roster currently, and certainly not much for defenses to worry about out of the gate. As @Gerry Hamilton often says, we'll see what happens.
  14. He's had plenty of opportunities to be a coach. I don't think that's what he wants to do. If he likes this type of role better (Development), then that's probably best for him and for the players. Recruiting and coaching full time is a hell of a commitment.
  15. So happy for Colt and all your family. 🤘
  16. He's really thin. Listed at 6-7 185 pounds. He's got ability, just needs to fill out a bit and get stronger. He'll be one of those guys who plays for 4 years and gets better each season.
  17. Any updates on Weaver's return?
  18. They were playing the Arch interview at a California Pizza Kitchen in the Chicago burbs today. I think there's going to be plenty of media attention on Arch.
  19. We need somebody to take attention away from Wingo. Moore isn't going to do that. Wingo struggled a bit when the threat of I. Bond was not on the field. For Wingo to be as effective as he can be, someone else has to warrant attention as well. Besides Wingo, there isn't' another WR on the roster that will demand anything other than JAG attention. We have to get someone in there who can be a real threat. We don't have that on the roster as of today.
  20. I had always heard that Choice was a guy looking to be a Head Coach. I don't know if an NFL gig as a position coach is the best pathway for that ambition. I could be wrong. Whether he really has the goods to be a head coach is an open question. I have my doubts. But that's been the talk as far as I can recall.
