'05 for me. Finally broke through and won in convincing fashion. Probably 2018 after that.

Freshman year at UT, first Red River Shootout, Stony Clark - 1994. second best was Jamal Charles coming out of the pile for a 40-50 yard TD run in 05? Knew Texas was going to win it all after that.

It's either Dicker the Kicker game or the 49-0 game. One was exciting and super stressful, the other was just satisfying seeing the gooners empty the stadium by the end of the 3rd quarter.

Amazing program at Thompson High

For me, it was my first one to attend as a student. 1989. Johnny Walker from Peter Gardere. Only better moment as a fan was the Rose Bowl. That's the great thing about this game. It makes new lifelong fans and memories every single year.

10/10/2026 The day we send Oklahoma into Nebraska Cornhusker purgatory.

Peter Gardere 4 in a row. We had no business winning any of those games. It was slim pickens those years.

Yep that was great. We were in upper deck. The Texas trainers turned him around. We had terrible seats. Around row 3-4 on the 5 yard line or so, then Stoney Clark snatched victory form the jaws of defeat. I yelled so long and hard that I got dizzy. I had bruises on my back from the guy behind.........whom I did not know.

49-0

OTF expects Texas to bring in Monday offer Cherif Millogo for an OV soon. I'm pretty sure his agent lives in Austin.

OTF doesn't believe there is a high probability Beckham Black signs in November. That doesn't change anything with Texas and Black. The Horns are all in.

He's a WILL backer more than likely at the next level. He's a striker type player though. Definitely doesn't lack face in the fan physicality. Legit 6-1 and 222

Hard to believe he left 'Bama for college station

Gardere was the first QB I saw of my first ever Texas game when I was 7, and it was the Texas OU game. That was a great day 🤘

No there is a play where he is 35 yards down the field and wide open. Nobody is near him.

Now he was a safety!

Know a few guys who played for him during his 2nd stint at TXST. They all loved him. A few played for his son at Blinn before transferring to TXST, too

I played football for him one year at Southwest Texas before I transferred . He was a good motivator . RIP

Transferred from Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky, to Tabor Academy in Massachusetts. Considering reclassifying into the 2027 class

Quan Cosby block on the OU Db

The Jordan Shipley KO return to cut the score to 10-14. We were down 14-3 and on the verge of being lit up, and that kickoff return completely changed the momentum. OU was also ranked #1 coming into the game. UT was ranked #1 after the game.

Sad to hear

I was there. That was a memorable day. I sure wish our return trip to the Cotton Bowl that season would have been just as memorable. 😒

Believe he's from Louisville and transferred to Tabor this year. I was in Marion for a wedding a few weeks ago. Beautiful campus and town.
