Anthony Pack Jr. has been named the SEC Freshman of the Year. It's the second consecutive season a Longhorn has been voted the SEC Freshman of the Year by the league's coaches after Dylan Volantis took home the honor in 2025.

I don't really care about the seeding beyond being top 8. Being paired with WVU sounds good to me.

I would love to hear Gerry and Bobby and whoever else make a couple podcasts about what they remember covering specific recruiting classes with nuggets that maybe they couldn’t talk about the time. Like a whole episode dedicated to the Vince class, the Adrian Peterson year, one to the Kyler Murray/Malik Jefferson class, Tom Herman’s first full class with the Leon O’Neal story, etc. Maybe bring on a former player from that class to contribute to the story of it.

Like to see the Spurs win, but not confident Wemby will be consistent enough to pull it off.
