Have we seen any actual players that would be takes in regards to IOL or not yet?
Really hope Goosby comes back another year cause getting 2 guards and a center AND a left tackle would not be ideal at all.
I don't think I'd be confident in next year's team without Goosby.

So far I've seen only the south carolina guard be talked about

I think in normal years we'd pass because we only seem to take high producers at their previous stops but I'm hoping the increase to 105 allows for takes like this. Him with Atkinson, Barnes & TyAnthony Smith would go a long way towards getting that room right.

Agreed!

CJ, positionally speaking, where do you think Texas will emphasize most in the portal this cycle — and which spots are now clear must-add versus luxury adds?

OL is priority … multiple OL btw

RB is priority

WR is luxury

DB is priority

LB is needed

EDGE is luxury

Don’t think 3rd year backups from other schools are going to be targets.

DeAndre Carter actually visited Texas after he had committed to Auburn. He officially visited in October of 2023, and cited his relationship with Kyle flood remained strong even after committing to Auburn.

Listed at 6–4, 355

Was primarily used on FG units. No starts this season.
