This would be a huge win to keep him on campus, something to really get excited about. Probably wouldn't be able to find a portal transfer of his caliber. We really need to appreciate these guys while we have them.

Arch's impact on revenue sharing is minimal.  He is getting plenty from NIL endorsements.

In normal situation a QB like Arch would ask for 3 or 4 million... don't think he's asking nearly that much but obviously I have no knowledge about it

Is Goosby coming back contingent on Kyle Flood also returning? Know there is likely other coaching changes that might happen, guessing Flood wont be one of them if he is playing a part in getting him to stay?

I know for a fact that Arch doesn't accept any NIL $$$ from the school/collectives, etc. Same as Quinn. His NIL is all private deals.

For the exposure that the brand gives you no *starting* Texas QB should take any money from the university. You can make millions off of deals alone and you can have the chance to have a better team around you

I don't understand this logic. Imagine an NBA team having multiple all star players and missing the playoffs. Would you argue that's a sign of good coaching? I don't think so. Under Flood, the OL as a whole has been less than the sum of its parts. He deserves credit for developing Goosby, Christian Jones, etc. But ultimately, Flood should be evaluated based on the performance of the OL as a group. By that metric, he has been mediocre at best.

One year ago we had one of the top offensive lines in the country… rough crowd… now I agree, if we continue to struggle on the field then draft picks don’t matter, but an off year where we improved as the year went on isn’t a reason to fire a guy who has a history of success.

They were at good pass blocking last year, but weren't particularly good run blockers. I'd still argue they underperformed given the talent and experience level that Flood had to work with.
