All in is great and all but the football program isn’t going to shut down after the 2026 season so they need to have some guys for the future.  Or maybe the plan is to go all in to get a football natty, Sark goes to NFL, then CDC helps Sean Miller go "all in" to get their first basketball natty in the 2027-28 season lol

Insiders not saying anything could be cause they can’t or won’t. Not cause “they have no idea what’s going on”

pretty sure a lot of stuff for us and the OL recruiting is behind the scenes on purposeful lock down from the media reporting it cause the staff knows they can’t mess up the OL this year. Period.

Brooks has great potential but was quit frankly lost on the field most of the time last year.

First Seaton isn’t in portal yet, so that is not a fact.  Second, it’s no guarantee we get the guy even if he goes into portal.  
 

Brooks is one of few young lineman that had upside to be a future multi year starter and NFL player.  Yes, he struggled as a true freshman playing a position he never played.  We still need more OL for next year and we just lost a guy that could have competed for a starting role or could have been a key backup in 26 and started going forward.

I see what you’re saying but losing Brooks and Barnes at positions we are already very light in is not good, especially when they have so much potential. Keeping them helps not have as much turnover next year.

This is the OL.
You cannot build an OL year after year through the portal.
Getting one guy or two guys per cicle I understand. You can't start losing future starters at tackle or guard cause you're going all in on 2026.
