 So… with 20 extra scholarships I am a little surprised we aren’t rooting for some dogs, diamonds in the rough among mid majors and smaller schools for players at positions still in need of depth.  Chambliss sure turned out well for Ole Miss.

This. This is how I would like those extra scholarships to be spent.  If we get 20 o so of those players and one or two work out it is a big deal for the teams success.

ESPN has TAMU as the 6th seed and Texas as the 10th seed in the 2026 playoff projections. How exactly do they envision TAMU having that success? Isn't their whole O line gone?

It appears Sark is taking the NFL roster approach. I doubt we ever get to 100 scholarships.
