Dread-headed Texan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The snow has arrived in Austin. I have warned my dog, that if she wants to play around in 18 degree weather she will be left outside 😂. If she knows what's best she'll take care of her business, and come back inside to 75 degrees. 1 Quote

Let my 2 out this AM; they did their business, but the Boxer turned to me and seemed to be saying, 'can you clean this crap up, and turn up the thermostat? We cold!'. 😆 1 3 Quote

Still one of the most dominating high school tapes I have seen. They showed it at the Houston TD Club player of the year ceremonies and everybody kind of oohed and awed while watching. 2 Quote

PaulieD Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I don't know if you can tell, but we have a lot of oaks, and it doesn't appear that there was a lot of adherence to the limbs, so (hopefully) we won't have a lot of breakage. P Edited 2 hours ago by PaulieD 1 Quote

Our trees and those I can see in the neighborhood all look good. That freezing rain a couple of years ago killed some of our younger trees by absolutely devasting and demolishing many branches and wreaked havoc on a few others. That really cold snap back in 21 also killed several of our younger trees, including 2 nice Monterey Oaks. 1 1 Quote

Had a sobering moment then - I heard the 'crack' of limbs breaking, so I went outside on the walkway. We have a massive live oak in the front yard. I turned around to go inside, there was a loud explosion, and a large limb hit the ground where I was just standing.👀 Edited 50 minutes ago by PaulieD 2 Quote
