Looking forward to the pics.  I had a TIA yesterday morning and spent Friday in the hospital.  God bless you all.

Take care and get better!

The snow has arrived in Austin. I have warned my dog, that if she wants to play around in 18 degree weather she will be left outside 😂. If she knows what's best she'll take care of her business, and come back inside to 75 degrees.

Let my 2 out this AM; they did their business, but the Boxer turned to me and seemed to be saying, 'can you clean this crap up, and turn up the thermostat?  We cold!'.  😆

cant believe we let Alan Faneca go from Rosenberg to Lsu. That was a huge miss even at the time.

Ugh. Still one of the most dominating high school tapes I have seen. They showed it at the Houston TD Club player of the year ceremonies and everybody kind of oohed and awed while watching.

I don't know if you can tell, but we have a lot of oaks, and it doesn't appear that there was a lot of adherence to the limbs, so (hopefully) we won't have a lot of breakage.  P

My back deck, looking over Walnut Creek and the pocket park beyond it, in northwest Austin, at 8 AM.  No limbs down!Y

Yeah Mark, I think we dodged a bullet, we do not have a lot of accumulation on trees.

Our trees and those I can see in the neighborhood all look good.  That freezing rain a couple of years ago killed some of our younger trees by absolutely devasting and demolishing many branches and wreaked havoc on a few others.   That really cold snap back in 21 also killed several of our younger trees, including 2 nice Monterey Oaks.

Sure did.

Had a sobering moment then - I heard the 'crack' of limbs breaking, so I went outside on the walkway.  We have a massive live oak in the front yard.  I turned around to go inside, there was a loud explosion, and a large limb hit the ground where I was just standing.👀
