Not sure how the SEC conference scheduling works in college baseball compared to football. Avoiding LSU until possibly the conference tournament and/or NCAA tournament is nice as well. Position player preseason depth question. These seem like the locks for expected contributors: OF: Robbins, Pack, Larson, and Williams MIF: Rodriguez and Mendoza Corners: Beccera, Borba, Livingston C - Tinney Who are the next few guys who we could see? I'll start it off with my non-expert expectations, but please chime in! Most likely to DH or pinch hit, not listed above: Ermis? Backup C - Ermis Fourth OF: already covered above. Strong 4-deep. MIF depth: Beccera (over Duplantier) Pinch runner: Pendergrass (over Duplantier) @Blake Munroe @CJ Vogel @Jeff Howe Edited 3 hours ago by AZ Longhorn C-colon-space gets autochanged to an emoji?! Jerry K Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We’re all entitled to our own opinions. Not to be disrespectful but I can’t get on board with “Omaha or bust”. That’s saying it will be a failed season if they only make a super regional. I realize there’s deep talent and one of the best coaching staffs in the country but they do play in the SEC and this season’s schedule is brutal and, in my opinion not being talked about enough. Hornmatic Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Thanks for the baseball coverage! The boys talked around and hinted at, but never directly said, what I’ve been thinking. ARod could be an outright liability at SS. I don’t have many concerns about this team, love the pitching for sure. But Rodriguez at Short and back of the lineup are two. Quote

I just don’t the season would be bust if they don’t make Omaha given the schedule as long as they make a deep postseason run. Quote
