Based on New Jersey being capitalized I thought this was going to be a mafia gambling thread.

Ya maybe, leave the j in lower case. Just a thought.

I assumed before the numbers came out that the single digits would look something like this:

#0 Emmett Mosely

#1 Ryan Wingo

#2 Derek Cooper

#3 Hollywood Smothers

#4 Raleek Brown

#5 Kaliq Lockett

#6 Nick Townsend

#7 Jermaine Bishop

#8 Cam Coleman

#9 KJ Lacey

2 out 10 confirmed not good guesses

Richard Wesley is in #99

I've always thought that #99 looked cool on both the home and away Longhorns jerseys.

Same for #88.

Good luck to the young man.

I always remember Stan Thomas at #51. I was at the $MU game in Dallas back in the day when the Ponies were just coming off the Death Penalty and they had a collection of players that resembled an intramural team. Big Stan Thomas had been wearing out the $MU player across from him and finally, the guy let go with a cheap shot to Stan's Nether Region. Total blindside shot-- the worst I've ever seen. Stan buckled to the turf. The officials threw flags and caps and the offending $MU player was kicked out of the game. The benches cleared, but no fight ensued. I thought the Longhorns almost felt sorry for them because the physical size and talent mismatches were so obvious.

Best wishes to Turntine and Hook 'Em!

Jermaine Bishop Jr. will wear No. 4 for his freshman year.

Bishop also ended up with a corner locker, which for a freshman is pretty impressive.

Is Jelani McDonald officially back in 4 as well? That might confirm which side of the ball Bishop will start out at even though most of us assume he'll start out on offense.

Sounds like I might need to start one just for that!

You can start with Kevin Marr, big 12 official from Omaha, NE.  Whenever the Horns drew that crew, it felt like a Mafia scum fix.  JMO
