He's not shooting it as much as he did last year at Cincinnati or his sophomore season at Texas. Still, 3.0 assists per game are a career high and 2.1 stocks (steals plus blocks) per game is right where he's been in his career.

The outside shot never came (he's 0-for-14 from three this season).

Purdue and Michigan State were the easy ones for me. Man times have changed.

Compare that to MSU or Duke... heck, even Houston or Alabama.

in case you’re wondering, Paul Jesperson (almost identical name) hit a half court buzzer beater to knock Texas out the tournament 10 years ago
