HookEmLonghorns Posted June 10 Posted June 10 (edited) As a dad with small children, I much prefer night games so I can watch uninterrupted after the kids are down. The only guaranteed night game announced today is on the one night they will definitely stay up late. No bueno for me Edited June 10 by HookEmLonghorns Quote

Alex Butler Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Don’t live that TN or FL game that early. Those are good matchups and would think they’d be better later, but that’s just me. Mizzou, I’m actually ok with better at the warmest part of the day rather than later or night time. Quote
Mark Futrell Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Disappointed that the game at Tenn will be 11 AM CST as I was looking forward to a Night Game. What are they going to do: Put LSU and The Aggies as the night game? Quote

What are they going to do: Put LSU and The Aggies as the night game? I am disappointed with it as well. Thought it would be the perfect game for the night slot. But, for years the SEC has tried to force an LSU and Texas A&M rivalry. Feels like they are once more coercing folks to believe that game matters outside of the two fanbases. 1 Quote

Bummer it wasn’t a night game but it’s my first game back in Austin since the double OT win over K state. what’s an October noon game like temperature wise? It’s no August game, but is it still pretty warm? Quote

Jeff, the Mississippi State night game is also Alumni Band Night. Typically, more Alumni show up for night games so combined bands could be well over 1,000 marching. Quote
TTown Posted June 11 Posted June 11 I want the best advantages possible. So 11 at Tenn is great. No night game. We have 3 early games and we practice early all year check! 4 possible night games at home check! So all in all not bad. And if LSU isn't doing great maybe get them in the afternoon, not at night. Tough schedule so looking for any slight bit of help. But understand wanting Tenn and LSU at night from a fan perspective 🤟 Quote

I'd like to think that being an older team will help some of that, but when looking at it from the standpoint of what helps Texas, avoiding a night game at Tennessee is big. Still, as a college football fan, I wanted that thing played at night. 1 Quote

That 22 Georgia team went there and the final was 16-6, The 24 Georgia team went there and the final was 13-12. Quote

Tough kids who are coached hard and play with a physical edge make their place a tough place to play. Quote
