Talked to a long time coaching connection Saturday.

Word from this person is that there is growing belief by coaches that Sorsby may not play this season - this is not OTF reporting this. Just belief among coaches from a convo.

One Big 12 head coach does not believe Sorby will end up playing this year, for sure.

Big 12 schools presidents and higher ups have made it be known to Brett Yormark that he works for them per this person. 

Will be interesting to follow!

One can hope someone steps in and says Sorsby won't play this year, but I'll believe it when I see it. With Texas Tech speaking on July 7 at Big 12 Media Days, things could get interesting—and Joey can't cancel those.
