There’s an unfair narrative out there with some that VY is some lazy, irresponsible athlete who threw his career away. I hope this doc brings light to what truly went on in his life. He’s a good dude with good intentions and will forever be a Longhorn Legend.

I might actually respect Jeff Fisher if he said at some point (he might've said something like this and I just missed it) that he didn't want to draft VY, never wanted VY and took an inkling of responsibility for why it didn't work out in Tennessee.

The "he showed weakness" comment in the trailer, out of context or not, is all I need to see and/or hear to know that what I'm asking for is too much.

VY's winning percentage as a starting QB in the NFL: .613

Jeff Fisher's winning percentage as an NFL head coach: .512

VY succeeded while playing for a guy who was waiting impatiently for him to fail. VY isn't without blame, for sure, but it would be nice if Fisher admitted just a little bit of fault.

I've never seen talent willfully wasted and sabotaged like Fisher did with VY. 
Who knows what VY's ceiling could have been - like said, he is far from faultless, but he was actively sabotaged and suppressed.
Criminal.

That officially ended what little respect I had for that coach. “Weakness”! Nothing weak about Vince Young. Why didn’t he say thank you for saving his job?

Tennessee has not had a starting QB play more than 5 seasons since Steve McNair. They've been most successful at derailing a promising college quarterback's career. The last 4 seasons have been especially messy, flip flopping from drafting Willis, Levis, and now Ward.

V.Y didn't fail in Tennessee, Tennessee failed him and every other QB since.

So disappointing to see him not come home to Houston. Just having a Texans Jersey with Young's name on it would have been worth it. Literally would have been worth more than literally anything the Texans have seriously accomplished since then.

Agree 100% I really liked Fisher before VY but have zero respect for him and the way he handled that whole situation. Especially the way he handled Vince being missing and fear suicidal after McNair’s death. Absolute disgrace of a coach. They should’ve won the SB with the team that had CJ2k, Moss, and Vince. Don’t even get me started on the benching after 3 INTs and the Kerry Collins situation. Trash trash and more trash.
