I’m a T Smith fan—I think he’s a dynamic playmaker who always seems to be around the ball—but championship teams have squeezed out all the entitlement to be a cohesive unit focused on the bigger goals. If he thought he was entitled to a starting role and wasn’t willing to fight for it (and play whatever role the team asked of him even if he failed), then he is not a championship player.
