Need to beat everybody and flip their LBs. 2 minutes ago, NTX_Horn said: I wonder if they go even harder after Gouda and is Nelson still being targeted? Mods? No way aggy can hold all of their 3 blue chip LBs from us after we whoop their ass in Kyle Field come November. I would imagine Gouda is added to Nelson and Hammons as potential targets. 1 Quote
JurassicSark Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago All this panic about a linebacker version of Johntay Cook. Meanwhile everyone seems to have forgotten we still have Kyle Flood coaching the OL... 1 Quote
tmataya Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Don’t forget Brad Spence. He seems to be a playmaker whenever he is in. Quote

Obviously not ideal, but could be interesting Jonah Williams in packages/spot situations has probably already been discussed. Not a guy you want playing LB against the run or for several snaps. Not sure what the answer will be. Maybe one of the several great edge guys you have can roll into that spot for run stop and blitz packages These DB's/Star position guys being forced to "put their face in the fan" mentality will help if needed to play some at the position. In Muschamp we trust. 1 Quote

They'll definitely not have the season everyone seems to expect from them. Much tougher schedule and they'll drop a few more games this year and miss the playoffs (imo). Will cause some of their recruits to look elsewhere (not specifically Texas). 1 Quote

Did he fail a real drug test? Get caught gambling? Did he have the "pending an investigation" flu? Edited 5 hours ago by horns96 1 Quote

Actually, this is going to work out fine. I like the idea of each talented freshman lb being in a position to be counted on, and I'll explain why. First off, none of them have to be starters right off. Secondly, this team has veteran leadership throughout, including that room. This makes the unit even closer knowing each man is definitely going to be called upon, for sure. The awareness in the room will be higher because the spotlight on them, is now brighter. Kosi can follow Brad. Rocky can follow Rasheem. Tyler can follow Justin. Darius, Markus and Brady.. be special team demons. Johnathan and JJR aren't foreigners to the position, so I think they should be in those meeting rooms too, JIC. I don't think, however, a transfer portal guy would help, at this point, besides being a live body for practices. Edited 5 hours ago by 817 Boxing B 2 Quote

QuanCosbysBurner Posted 14 minutes ago Posted 14 minutes ago I’ve read his parents are sick to he has a drinking problem. Honestly, not to concerned with why he was dismissed more so concerned with him getting help if that’s what he needs. Wish him the best, was really looking forward to him playing this season after that Michigan game. 1 Quote
