Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 2 hours ago Moderators Posted 2 hours ago No. 1 Texas didn't report any changes to the SEC office for Friday's student-athlete availability report ahead of facing Oklahoma in the Red River Shootout on Saturday (2:30 p.m., ABC). Justus Terry, who has been dealing with turf toe, remains QUESTIONABLE. Jordan Coleman will miss his second consecutive game while recovering from turf toe. According to OTF's Hank South, there's optimism that Coleman could return as soon as next week's home game against Florida. The Sooners, however, have three noteworthy changes: — Eli Bowen, who OTF's CJ Vogel reported is dealing with an ankle issue that popped up late in the week, is on the report as QUESTIONABLE for the game. — Michael Fasusi, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury throughout the season, has officially been downgraded to OUT. He hasn't played since the season opener against UTEP and wasn't expected to be available against the Longhorns. — Eddy Pierre-Louis has been downgraded from QUESTIONABLE to DOUBTFUL. If Pierre-Louis misses the game, it would deal a significant blow to an offensive line that's struggled to find its footing early in the season. View full news story 9 1 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 2 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 2 hours ago Two pretty significant developments on the OU side of the rivalry with Bowen and Pierre-Louis. Those would be two big losses for the Sooners if they can't go. 13 Quote

It doesn’t matter what there offense looks like they are the best defense in the world according to @Bobby Burton and we shouldn’t even show up 3 Quote
HookEmLonghorns Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago OU’s injury status got worse over the bye. That’s not supposed to happen. 4 Quote
Paul L Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago That is a rough injury report for OU. Looks like it’ll be another year of excuses because they were hurt. 1 Quote
Alex Butler Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Let’s get after them defensively. I don’t trust that Bowen is hurt I think this is a little car and mouse to get Texas to go at him early and stay away from Guillory and the PI calls he’s had issue with this year. I think you get Coleman iso on him and just go at him and shirt quick pops to Wingo at Bowen to test his responsiveness and how he looks on that ankle. 4 Quote
SuperDave0805 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 1st Terrry and now Coleman. We need to fire the turf toe coach 5 Quote
Alex Butler Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Interesting that the money line move in favor of OU and the win predictor moved in favor of OU even with this injury report, makes me wonder what Vegas knows that we don’t… 3 Quote

cdibbs Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Injury report underscores the importance of playing a clean game for Texas. Texas can't lose if they play a clean game and that becomes more clear with the injuries. Quote

Neil Leininger Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) OU might be the 1st team in the history of football where BYE was a tougher week than Georgia. Edited 1 hour ago by Neil Leininger 1 2 Quote
wb1076 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Kinda bummed they aren’t playing the guys who haven’t been great anyways. What if they get addition by subtraction? They have to have some talent behind these names on the injury report. Quote

HonkEm Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago (edited) Bring the house on every play tomorrow.😀 Just kidding. In fact, OU's injuries are probably a reason not to bring the house every snap. If Oklahoma is down receivers and/or playing a QB behind a shaky offensive line, Texas' biggest advantage may be letting the front four create pressure while keeping seven in coverage. Going to be interesting to see Muschamp's game plan tomorrow. Edited 43 minutes ago by HonkEm Quote
