AlecOsborne5 Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago One of, if not, the worst loss I can think of. Embarrassing. Robertson needs to be done. I've been staying patient with him but something has to change there. He's not the only blame by any means but he's just been on my radar for a while and this one did it for me. Bad coaching Bad execution Bad effort Bad discipline Just a really bad football game 27 points scored with one offensive TD and being outgained by 150 yards. Absolutely embarrassing product on the field today. Hopefully it'll be a wake-up call for the better and not for the worse. 3 Quote

He will continue to drag his teams into these sloppy close games. 2. Arch does not have it. The kid is mentally slow. A few ticks behind processing. KJ Lacey has shown smarter and better passing in his limited time. 3. Fire Jeff Banks. Total sloppy crap every game. 4. Fire Kyle Flood. Year 6 and his OL still struggles to pickup stunts and blitzes. He thinks it’s acceptable to trot out Conor Robertson and Conor Stroh. Pack your sheet in a box and GTFO. Point 4 is legit, I’m no coach and I’ve known for three years they’ve had a guard, center, guard problem 3 Quote

Every time Sark runs a toss of sweep that doesn't work, fans go nuts. You must have variety in the run game. He’s a fan and a paying member on this site. What qualifies you to call out fans that call coaches and players out? We all get to make comments on this site. Not just ones you agree with. 5 Quote

Bunk Moreland Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago Meanwhile, CJ Baxter scores the winning TD against LSU while rushing for 100+ on 6 YPC. Maybe the issue with our run game isn’t the players, it’s the OL and Kyle Flood’s scheme. 4 Quote

People can say, “players must execute,” but if they’ve been saying this for six seasons, maybe it’s not all on the players. 2 Quote

Was a shame we had to move on from him but he just could never stay healthy at Texas. 2 Quote
Steven Conant Posted 32 minutes ago Posted 32 minutes ago The hardest loses are self inflicted ones. Beating yourself is the most frustrating thing in sports. That frustration can lead us to expressing opinions about coaches' and players' as if we have all the answers. It may lead us as fans to forget, in the moment, that the professionals likely already know about these issues and spend a lot more time trying to solve them than we do. Also, the difference in how much we make coaching and what they make is significantly different for a reason. This team has issues it has to solve to reach what I think its goals are. That said, the only goal that cannot be achieved is an undefeated season. Not sure that was ever considered to be a goal at all. Its not time for frustrated fans to abandon the program and count them out. 1 Quote

But at the same time you can’t keep testing the definition of insanity. They have to change some of the staff though, it’s stale with banks and flood 1 Quote
TooBrokeToPayAttention21 Posted 31 minutes ago Posted 31 minutes ago I'm sure we will win more games but I'm not picking us to win again until they show us that they have turned a corner. Don't put it out of the realm of possibility that we lose next week. Quote

The problem wasn’t the play calls or the OL. It is 100% on ARCH. I respectfully disagree, Not saying Arch wasnt a problem but the play calls, scheme, and inability to build any continuity is a major problem. 1 Quote
watty7796 Posted 26 minutes ago Posted 26 minutes ago Couple of things. Discipline is a real problem for Texas. Recurring theme. Leadership lacking. Recurring. Bad playcalling. Recurring. Poor offensive line play. Recurring. Accountability. Special Teams both players and coaches. Same players making same or similar mistakes on every part of the team. Offense Defense and Special Teams. Our best players and leaders cant make silly mistakes and blow it off. Simmons last week PF kept drive alive, jumped offsides tonight. Biles PF on an interception allowing drive to continue and give up points. Arch handing out game balls to the gooners gift wrapped. Here is the one that really bothers me. The last 2 QBs at Texas were both 5 star athletes and ranked 1 in their respective class. With the time that both had on the 40 would anyone say that they were developed to the expected level? Same issue with OL specifically Guards and Center. The good is that atleast WRs and DL are where they should be or ahead. 1 Quote

Beldar Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago (edited) Hell , let's give up and clean house and start over. Has not worked well in the past for us. Oregon, LSU, Florida, Aggie, Bama , lost today also. We flat gave one away today no question . Myself, I am hoping the team don't give up like their fan base. I hate losing , especially to those Assholes , but just hope they get ready to go next week and take down Florida. This damn league is going to beat each other up and have a bunch of unhappy fans all over it this year. Edited 10 minutes ago by Beldar 1 Quote

Not to hate on CJ but outside one run he averaged 2.5 yards a carry and LSU doesn’t have a top 5 defense Quote
