Personally, I’d keep sark, muschamp…pay Chip Kelly whatever the 2 clowns are making combined and go get some young hungry spt’s and te coaches.

I want to see Sark change. If he can change, he can keep 6 years of work rolling.

 

He’s not been in this position before and he needs to prove he can learn. Wish he’d have cracked and put KJ in today. Arch is broken. 
 

IF Sark can adapt maybe he can win. If not, the weight of the Texas job will drag him down.

In that scenario, I don’t even know who is out there that’s an upgrade. Interested in Stein. Wonder if Muschamp would want another go. Curious about Golding.

Either way, the team needs to be less soft and less undisciplined. Period. That won’t work in the SEC.

Idk about Freeman.  He has a free ride to the CFP every season at ND guaranteed.  Doubt he would give up that luxury.

I understand. I agree with you. However, with the resources Texas should do the same. Any Coach at Texas with the support and resources that is provided to them from Texas should make The Playoffs in a 24 Team Playoff every year. Hey, Kelley left ND for LSU, so why shouldn’t Freeman leave ND for Texas

Freeman is never leaving Notre Dame unless he has NFL ambitions. They have a clear path the CFB every year. Although they look like they might lose this BYU game.

Cignetti doesn't seem like he wants to leave Indiana. He's got a ton of support, got a cushy new deal and is doing really well there despite the loss to Ohio State today.

Saban and Meyer are never going back to coaching.

Anyone else you want to go after is a risk. Now they'll have a great financial support system behind them to go and get whatever they want. But Sark already has that and has in a lot of aspects under performed. 

You'd also have to convince the boosters to spend well over 50 million and convince them that this next guy will get Texas over the top.

I mean we have 1 national title in how many years now? That just isn't good enough for a blue blood. I fear Sark missed his window in 23 and 24.
