Sark Hot seat meter

Featured Replies

I don't relish CDC's position, but clearly (at least to me) a change is needed:

1.  Bench Arch and put KJ in for the next game.  Salvage what we can for this year.

2.  CDC really does need to have a heart-to-heart with Sark, mano y mano.  Find out what is really going on.

3.  CDC starts a serious short list because there is too much riding on this program to allow someone to destroy it, which Sark is apparently very close to doing.

Are we warm or scorching hot?

replacement ideas?

I think calling saban, urban and Cignetti should certainly be Plan A

With me it’s Hiroshima

I’d like freeman but that’s not happening, Cig and Kirby would be the best options but we’d have to money whip them and doesn’t seem realistic anyways.

Cignetti’s making $13M a year to play 2-3 hard games a season with the IU booster money behind him and a guarantee that the stadium and half the streets in Bloomington will be named after him when he retires

He has absolutely no reason to leave

this logic is funny…

It’s Bloomington Indiana…

Sark knows his time here is over.  A loss to ole Miss and he could get Kiffined at DKR.

If Sark rolls out same ole stale crap next week his time is over.  Anything less than KJ Lacy at qb and different play caller or offensive looks fans will be booing at record levels....

Horn nation has seen enough.

I’d love cignetti. I think it’s the beginning of the end for sark here.

There is an excellent interview on youtube right now with  Dave Wannstedt on Major Garrett's podcast.  He says every coach has a window of time (sometimes it's only a year), usually 2-5 where the front office and/or the fans allow the coach to establish his game, his overall plan, his staff, his record, etc.  Once you have peaked or are perceived to have peaked, it's just a matter of time..  Reminded me a lot of our current situation...Has Sark already peaked???

Sark is falling rapidly...he's losing the fan base.  Perhaps KJ can pull us out of the fire...but can Sark pivot and re-invent himself??  Does he have the will to do it??

Maybe a 2/10 if we lose out. Not happening lmao

If you barley make a bowl game hy it could easily happen

There are only 2 head coaches in college I’d go for over Sark. Freeman and Kirby and they have no reason to come here.

You can watch him lose in B2B weeks in year 6 with absolutely everything he wants at his fingertips and say there’s only two coaches you’d take? I’d take the coach that just beat him at home.

This isn’t even a discussion until he loses 5 games again in a season.  Even then he will get another year after that.

Not without some changes, imo.  CDC's own job requires him to address this situation responsibly and seriously.  He can't allow Sark to destroy the football program.  It's definitely trending downward now...If we all can see it, so can CDC.

Keep sark make him get an OC and a new offensive line coach and maybe qb coach also. Keep banks make him the special teams coach. Get a TE coach and keep muschamp. Its our best option.

I don’t know about that. Too much money involved and Texas is looking at an 8-4 ish type of season with a roster that is loaded.

Feeling more and more like sark peaked in 2023 and 2024

Any chance nick saban has the itch to build a place and win another title like they talked about in the Saban Doc?

What has Lanning done that Sark hasn’t? I just don’t get the Lanning love from everyone around the country

Um. Lanning just lost to an Ok State team that lost to Tulsa and then followed it up with a home loss against UCLA. He also hasn’t gone to two CFO semifinals like Sark has despite an elite roster. Not sure you’d want to have him on your list.

To the Texas fans asking for Jeff Traylor… that is literally the exact same hire as Charlie Strong and Tom Hermann. Go get another Saban or Kirby assistant who doesn’t insist on calling plays if you’re not just going the, my personal favorite, make Sark get a coordinator, route.
