1. This was the biggest blown lead of Sark’s  career as a top-10 team. Texas led Florida 17-3, a 14-point lead. As an AP top-10 team, Sarkisian's previous biggest blown lead in a loss was 11 points, twice at USC: 2014 at Boston College and 2015 vs Stanford. That includes last week's 10-point blown lead against Oklahoma.

2. Today was Texas' biggest blown home lead as a top-10 team, since 2003. The previous biggest was 7, in a 2003 loss to Arkansas. Today was 14.

3. Today was the fewest plays of the Sarkisian era. 50 plays is Texas's fewest in Sark’s 74 games tracked. Next: 52 against Wyoming in 2023. Since 2003, only three Texas games had fewer: Rice in 2015 (38), Arkansas in the 2014 bowl (43) and New Mexico State in 2003 (49).

4. Time of possession: Florida ran 81 plays to Texas's 50 and held the ball 38:11 to 21:49.

5. Texas hasn't forced a turnover in 3 straight games, 39 opponent possessions. That ties its longest drought since 2006.

6. Since 2004, 8 AP top-10 teams have lost back-to-back games to unranked opponents. Texas is the only one that led both games by 10 or more: 10 vs Oklahoma, 14 vs Florida.

7. Since 1950, 5 AP-ranked teams have lost back-to-back games by the identical score. Texas, 27-24 to Oklahoma and 27-24 to Florida, is the only one to do it against two unranked opponents. The last before: 2011 Florida State, 35-30 twice.

8. Since 1950, 5 AP top-10 teams have lost back-to-back games by exactly 3. Texas is two of them, both starting from No. 1: 1965 (27-24 at Arkansas, then 20-17 vs Rice) and 2026 (27-24 vs Oklahoma, then 27-24 vs Florida).

9. Texas has posted the same final score in back-to-back games twice since 1950: 52-10 wins over Rice and Arkansas in 2008, and these two 27-24 losses.

I think Muschamp is the makeup on the pig that is starting to wash off. We aren’t very good right now.

The consistent glaring issue from year to year is the OL. Sark has been loyal to Flood, but it's time for a change.

But it’s the OL!  lol.  Sorry, but Arch just doesn’t have it on this level.  He’s had too much training to be this bad.  Thoughts on Milwee as QB coach?

Bye bye Sark.  Just a matter of when.

Agreed.  I'm just worried we are in for an extended wait.

I’d rather him feel the hot seat and actually turn this damn thing around instead of us start all over again.

but then again plenty of first year coaches making splashes this year like Florida beating us with a first year guy. SMH so stupid we can’t win the last two weeks

Two 5 star QBs no development enough said…

Last year it was "Cedric Baxter just isn't the same athlete as he was before the injury." So we moved on from Baxter who is doing well at Kentucky. I'm sure when Arch goes to a different team, he'll start to ball out like he should have here. So, what's the common denominator?

Has a back wide open in the flats, could have easily kept running and gotten 10+, he’s just not seeing the entire field. He’s locked into who he wants to throw to before the ball is even snapped.

It sucks being the bad end of these kinds of stats every week

This is where I come out too

Will say this on OL. Tenn. made Keelon Russell look very much like Arch yesterday. I was amazed. If OL can not block, you are screwed. We have not figured out how to handle extra rusher up the middle yet. UTSA started it and everyone is going with it. Ole Miss D looked good against Missou. Saturday could be really ugly if we don't change system. Thought it was huge coaching blunder with 14 point lead to go for it on fourth and short at mid field with the history of our failures to pick up and give them short field to score .

I am to the point of being in favor or starting entire second unit. Do not see how it could be worse but with OL play we have now, could destroy young QB confidence. We are just not that talented on Offensive side of ball.

Yesterday was amazing day in college football. Never seen that many ranked teams, many in top 10 go down same day. Nuts. Can we say parity.?

We have not been good at coaching changes.  Don't like what is going on now but not giving up yet. Hell almost entire top 20 lost yesterday.
