Arch has never had a 300+ yd day against a P4 team?

Look I celebrated the day he committed. I wanted him in over Quinn sometimes.

But, alas, it does not look like is who we wanted him to be.

We're dealing with CJ crap. Bobby has sold out by hiring such an idiot.

Woah man, this is wrong. CJ's great at his role.

Nobody knows if KJ is the answer, but firing AJ Milwee or Kyle Flood on October 19th does nothing for the rest of the season.

A QB change might actually do something.

I'd rather change the play caller.

Milwee has called plays before.

It's almost certainly the biggest problem.

This "announcement" is literally the worst way this could have been handled

The media and everyone under the sun is running wild with this story right now.

Desmond Howard is making new selfie videos while taking out his trash.

Football social media accounts are already pushing the Arch to transfer to XYZ narratives.

They should have either announced KJ as the new starter and ripped the bandaid off, or not addressed it at all.

Now the dude is gonna be under even more pressure, scrutiny and stress with every play.

Sark just manufactured a QB controversy for himself

Sark just named Arch the starter in presser so there’s no competition this week at qb position.

That's not gonna stop the media hysteria, drama and talk.

260 this year against OU, then 195 (OSU), 201 (Tenn), 173 (!!! Florida).  (Also 161 and 305 against the two non-P4 teams)

Whoa, I got the quote wrong (from somewhere) - several 300 yard passing games last year, sorry my mistake

346 Miss St

328 Vandy

389 Arky

Probably the article I read said no 300 yard games against P4 teams THIS season and I misquoted it ...

I think that is logical and certainly pragmatic, which is anything but.......for Sark this year. Question though: Do you think Sark would actually do that against Ole Miss and with the entire Manning Family present because of The Ole Miss game? There are some who claim that there is a so called "deal or or at minimum a gentlemens agreement" for Arch's development. I'm not saying there was - don't put those words in my mouth - , but I am asking a question of: "Can Sark bench or pull Arch in this situation of Ole Miss and the connections in this game???

Do you think Sark is intimidated by the “Manning Family”?

I don't think he is intimidated at all; so, no to your question. But, he could be influenced - could be, not saying he is like I mentioned above - and if so, he would not be the first Coach that would be "influenced" by a Players' Family and he won't be the last. Lets see what happens this week and throughout the 4 QTRs of the game on Saturday. Fair enough?

How would he be influenced? And I don’t think families of players have much influence. I’m sure coaches do their best to be nice and patient, but I doubt some dad is influencing any coach of substance.

I don't know what to tell you. It has been mentioned ad nauseum on OTF on the Manning Family wanting Arch to be developed. The Manning Family wants Arch to prepare for The NFL. Pocket Passer. Play Action. Make NFL type throws. The Manning Family doesn't want to see Arch take hits. This is well documented as Arch himself has addressed it. I would submit, that if the Best thing for this Team would be for a QB to play any different than that then that is "influence". For example, if the Best thing for this Team is Arch to play a style like Tim Tebow, then that would be a problem. eve if it is The Best thing for The Team. Likewise, if this Team needed a true dual threat QB like play and that style was given to Arch, then that would be a problem. As subtle as "influence" can be, it is certainly possible. Again, I'm not saying that has taking place. I will also add that it works the other way: Do you realize how many Coaches make promises to Families in order to secure their Commitment from High School? promises that don't come true. Is that not "influence". All good. Hook'em!!!

This is one sure-fire way to figure out whether it's really an Arch problem or not.

1 game won't determine that, or would it?

What family wouldn’t want their son developed? And yes, influence is “possible”. As it is with any family, it’s “possible”. I remember hearing how Mack played Chris Simms to make Phil Simms happy. Why? Who knows.

Sark would rather blame Arch than look at his play calling or fire his friends. Milwee couldn’t develop Arch or Quinn, but we think KJ is the answer? Second straight year of Kyle Flood not putting the right O-Line combo together until it’s too late. But yea, let’s keep blaming the QB

Quinn didn't get developed?

He arrived as a talented but inconsistent QB and left as a conference champion, playoff quarterback, and likely NFL draft pick.

Was he perfect? No. Did he still miss throws? Sure.

But saying he wasn't developed at all is revisionist history.

And it's okay to admit Arch hasn't played well lately without pretending every issue on offense is Sark, Milwee, or Flood

Great! Then we agree its "possible". That was the simple idea and statement from the very beginning. Happy to hear that we are on the same page. Have an outstanding day! I want what is best for This Team. What is Best for Arch. We all want the same thig, the question is the pathway to achieve the desired result. Hook'em!!!

We lose nothing by seeing what KJ can do.  Arch is shellshocked at this point.  He's Garrett Gilbert 2.0 (I'm sure I'll get trashed for saying it but ..... ).

You’re pretty spot on. Both were #1 or top ranked QB’s and had high expectations only to not meet them.

arch had a hell of a stretch at the end of last year, so I feel like he is better in that aspect compared to Gilbert lighting up Bama in the championship game only to be disappointing from there

I just never thought Arch would regress like he has. Hopefully this pushes him to knuckle up and fight for that QB1 spot

Cool! BTW, pretty much anything is possible.
