Katy16 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Can we get an analysis of players who we pushed out or let go, and players we brought it. Coleman seems like a bust 3 Quote
JurassicSark Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Coleman definitely a bust. Felt like more meaningful drops than catches this year. Piss poor blocker too - though he seemed to be trending up lately just a bit. 1 Quote
cedarlatch66 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The outgoing list might look worse once spring ball shakes out. Quote
AusMOJO Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I saw a post on reddit about the players who've transferred out since 2024, I think. Link Quote
Bobby Burton Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago That’s the list. Moore is/was a good player. He wanted above market rate. He visited Ohio State and a couple of other big name schools, and they said no thanks. He finally got it from Colorado, who so desperately needed someone to help them be 0-5 in the Big 12. Livingstone wanted more $$$ and he got it. His development and playing time, however, seem to have taken a real hit. He was a no. 4 or 5 receiver in the eyes of most that wanted to be paid like a no. 2 or 3. Oklahoma paid it and he is now a no. 4-6 for the Sooners. 3 1 Quote
Alex Butler Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tre Wisner and CJ Baxter are the only 2 I’d want back mainly for culture/leadership, toughness in the run game, and pass blocking. Cam Coleman hasn’t been as good as we hoped but he has been really effective in the red zone. I’ll be interested to see how he integrates if we’re able to get the offense into a rhythm while he’s out and he can come back and be the player we hoped where we’re not forcing the ball to him. 1 Quote
TexasMDcoach Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I am with Alex, still hoping Cam Coleman proves effective when/if we get our offense rolling. He has had two very memorable drops of sure touchdowns which seriously decreases his perceived value and his blocking at times has been atrocious. One thing is clear; he is no Ryan Wingo. @Bobby Burton thanks for the clarification on Livingstone. Suspected this was the reason he left but had not heard confirmation of this. He seemed to have chemistry with Arch. However, when you leave the 40 acres for Norman or College Station, you are dead to me. Quote
