Seems to me, that mobile, running QB’s are the down fall to all  SEC defensive front 7’s.  
 

with this in mind - I’m worried about our last 4 games.  
 

Watching sec games today

I’m not worried about our defense - I’m worried about our QB’s mobility against these upcoming front 7’s!!

Speaking specifically to A&M I don’t think UT can watch that game and replicate that, we don’t have the run game or the mobile QB that they have. 
 

A&M consistently delivered a good if not great pass rush, the Gamecocks were just regularly able to avoid sacks and turn it into a positive play because of Sellars ability to run, Quinn doesn’t have that, in fact in most scenarios he’d have been sacked or thrown an Int. 
 

no doubt about it, if we want to win in Clown Station we will have to Pass Protect really well.

One thing I’ve learned with this conference is never take games for granted.  Any given Saturday your team can get an unexpected result.  
Texas is a really good team and after all these years of hard preparation I really want these boys to at least make the playoffs.

Texas A&M matches up very well with Texas, assuming the Texas OL doesn't play at a very high level. 

The home field is worth 8-10 points in that game IMO.

Statue Quinn gets is run out of the building. RBs will need to bring some extra juice. I do think we match up really well on defense

There are other ways around the blitzing A&M deployed last night.

The route to the tight end is one of those. The RBs killed A&M in the passing game.

Lots of ways to get it done. It will be about executing at a high level on O. The problem is, we have not seen that of late IMO.

I’ve said it multiple times but I don’t know why sark isn’t using helm or niblack to run the middle/cross route like he did with JT. Quinn loves that throw and trusts helm

We need to plan to knock Turner’s **** in the dirt early and often. 
 

He plays mean and feeds on momentum. Borderline out of control. 
 

Our best defense is making them play from behind and letting our ends do work while they play catch up. They’re likely to beat us if we play them in a phone booth and they can lean on their rushing attack and QB’s legs to move the ball.

South Carolina also had the second worst offensive line in giving up sacks. Only one ahead of them you ask?! Why the Oklahoma Sooners. That said ATM’s defense is fast and they hit HARD should be a great chance for our online to put all they’ve gone through the last 2 years together and play their best physical tough game of the season. Bring the fight to them don’t dance around waiting to get hit haha!

Ga Quinn is far below a prepped Manning floor. OK/Vandy Quinn is still less effective than a prepped Manning imo. I don’t think we need Mi Quinn for am but it needs to be much closer to that than what we’ve seen the last 3 games. Other than ga, the line has been solid enough to win knuckle head penalties notwithstanding. 
 

I don’t think Arch can delivery a ring this year but I think the next 3 games and am would be invaluable for next years run especially since our line will be weaker. We’re going to out talent the next 3 games masking the qb issues. Unless Quinn is 100% healthy physically and mentally, it’s fool’s gold. He is really off now. Those consecutive dinks won’t work against many playoff quality teams. 
 

This is my first “strike” for Sark even if I understand the why. I think he is coddling Quinn in hopes that Quinn’s ceiling surfaces. I just don’t see how it will after this many games. He is who is. Great longhorn but can’t consistently stretch the field and his pocket awareness/evasiveness just isn’t there.
 

No OL is perfect and he really struggles when his isn’t with the exception of the Mi game. That’s clearly an outlier. Sark knows Arch isn’t fully ready and is riding out with Quinn. I think it’s a long term mistake but happy to eat a buffet of crow if Quinn’s light comes on. Definitely rooting for it but I have to set my own realistic expectations based on the play.
