'Packers' was originally short for 'meat packers', I guess a common job in stockyards when the franchise first started. Bevo gets treated with 1000x better care and respect. Colorado runs their buffalo (bison?) around the field, that's far more stressing to a larger animal. Bevo just chills and snacks during the game.
