I can sympathize with this. When I found out from my nephew he asked me why would someone take their own life. I told him a story about how my unit was own a mission in Iraq, the Dad(terrorist) wanted to teach his son. So his son joined him on the mission and recorded it. When the dad blew the IED, he knocked down a power line that zapped him with 220 volts. That was more than two decades ago, I still hear the son's scream, smell the electrocuted flesh, and remember the charred body. We didn't even kill him, but I still think about his son. The nightmares are persistent. I know KL felt remorse, you have to be absolutely evil not to. I'm sending virtual hugs to both families, it's sad all the way around.
