The players and their parents revel in his presence.  Sark is confident and self assured enough to understand why it's important to be welcoming, unlike other coaches we have had. CDC also rolls out the welcome mat to our former players. We have the best athletic administration in our history right now.

Unfortunately, there's quite a few fans around here that don't like Mack Brown because of how the last four seasons went.  His name is like a curse word to some.  I agree with you though.  Brown did the same for Royal before he passed.

I'm fine having him on the periphery especially if he can raise some cash, on that point I'm not aware if BMDs are good with him or not.  Sark, CDC and Eltife aren't going to let him make decisions so then who cares if he is or is not.

Never.  Mack is the primary driver for a decade of mediocrity.  He was a great recruiter who was regularly outcoached by Stoops, Leach, and Snyder.  He just quit on his team last year and then tried to come back for personal stats despite knowing his time was up.

Without Vince Young, Mack Brown is an afterthought.
