Moderators Blake Munroe Posted 1 hour ago Moderators Posted 1 hour ago As most of you know, my oldest son, Colt, suffered a severe spleen injury during a routine football practice play on November 05, 2024. We saw him be airlifted to Cook Children’s in Fort Worth, where he was given 11 units of blood and it left him hospitalized for about a month. It was a long road of recovery and he was finally cleared to play football… until he wasn’t. In July he suffered another setback, where he had an infection that affected his previous injury and was held out of any contact until last week. Last night he took to the field for the first time since that accident and is now playing a S/LB hybrid role, plus being used on kickoffs and returns. 316 days between last night and the last time he played in a game. 29 4 Quote
Moderators Blake Munroe Posted 1 hour ago Author Moderators Posted 1 hour ago He had about 8 tackles, a fumble recovery and also should have had a scoop and score… his DC was all over him about that, despite us being up 42-14. 🤣 13 Quote
McCoy2Shipley Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Congrats! Was hoping to see him play in Llano last week, but this is awesome to see. Good luck to y'all and Comanche! Quote
