Those 3 guys were on their backs.  CJ posted two short clips and one of them included that play.  All three were moving left and someone got hit or tripped and all 3 went down like dominoes.

Baker has pass blocked well. His run blocking is subpar.

That’s almost every Kyle Flood OL since he’s been at Texas.  This OL, for all its faults, has only given up 2 sacks through 3 games.  Run blocking continues to be head scratching in year 5.

Stroh tripped them up.

Is any of the run blocking issues within the 20’s play design?

they're running outside zone and they are getting confused on who to block. there are plays where Stroh literally blocks nobody on a zone run.

The line just doesn't block zone run consistently, which takes time and is more about understanding the play design than losing a battle at the point of attack. There's a lot of guys standing around watching the pile, which is more often than not a missed assignment rather than someone just getting beat.

as big as we are, regardless of youth or inexperience..... at this level not being able to run the ball these first 3 games has been hard to watch when our QB needs some help and the run game just isnt there either
