Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago How about the 3 interior guys. The ones that were all embarrassingly faceplanted on the one play last week 2 Quote
.45s Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Those 3 guys were on their backs. CJ posted two short clips and one of them included that play. All three were moving left and someone got hit or tripped and all 3 went down like dominoes. 2 Quote
jkates Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Baker has pass blocked well. His run blocking is subpar. 3 Quote

That’s almost every Kyle Flood OL since he’s been at Texas. This OL, for all its faults, has only given up 2 sacks through 3 games. Run blocking continues to be head scratching in year 5. Quote

dentonhorn Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Is any of the run blocking issues within the 20’s play design? Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 14 hours ago Moderators Posted 14 hours ago 1 hour ago, dentonhorn said: Is any of the run blocking issues within the 20’s play design? The line just doesn't block zone run consistently, which takes time and is more about understanding the play design than losing a battle at the point of attack. There's a lot of guys standing around watching the pile, which is more often than not a missed assignment rather than someone just getting beat. 3 Quote
SB21 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago as big as we are, regardless of youth or inexperience..... at this level not being able to run the ball these first 3 games has been hard to watch when our QB needs some help and the run game just isnt there either Quote
