Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM Moderators Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM Texas and 4-star+ Dre Quinn OTF broke the news that Texas was still going full steam at recent Clemson de-commit EDGE Dre Quinn (Buford, Ga./High) earlier this week. There is a strong level of confidence in the Longhorns probability to beat out Tennessee for the 6-foot-4, 228-pound pass rusher that will be a three-down player. Quinn has 26 tackles, 7 TFL's and 2 sacks in five games this season. 38 2 Quote

selfdm Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM how does he compare to Wesley? This is awesome. He seems like a prospect that has much more upside then his National rankings? Quote

Will be 6-4, 250-255. That would be two tremendous EDGE prospects in a class following Lance Jackson and Smith Orogbo, with Justus Terry as a hybrid EDGE/DT 20 Quote

SycoHorns2015 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Do we have a comp for him? Seems well rounded but maybe not a pass rush specialist? Quote

I'm just thinking back to 21/22 when Sark and PK first got here, they were struggling to get sacks/pressure. Quote

I'd seen what he had done at Washington and knew he could replicate that maybe even better at Texas. I was actually surprised he took the Texas job considering most people said he probably wouldn't leave Washington. Think it just showed how poorly Herman had built his roster. 2 Quote
