Looking forward to see hiw we responded in the Cotton Bowl next Saturday.

Me too.

I want to flush this one like the post-Thanksgiving dinner trip to the can.

Whatever Jeff. It’s Volleyball season.

I've seen worse from this program. I'm not bailing with seven games to go.

Doesn't mean I accept what happened today, though.

There's a lot more I wanted/needed to write, but I just needed to submit and gather my thoughts.

"Staggering" is how I'd describe this loss.

It was clear before this game just weren’t paying attention

5-7 type of year with this OL and then no pass rush on the other side. Bad combo.

I don’t think Texas is this bad. I think the biggest question is WHY didn’t Texas show up.

Lots of problems exposed today that it’s hard to have confidence that it’s going to get better.
We looked like we didn’t come ready to play today and that’s concerning since they had two weeks to prepare. Florida prepared. There is sure no easy games the rest of the way. Even Arkansas will play hard because Texas is their Super Bowl.

It was an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions.  And I was wrong.  Although I didn't write my expectations, internally I thought Arch would be MUCH MUCH better than he is.  He has the tools there, but just can't seem to see things in real time once the lights come on.

The season may not be over, but beating OU seems like a stretch.  Our only chance there would be that all of OU's players break their ribs laughing when they watch the tape.  It's obvious that Brooks is over-rated now, even if he does have potential.  Potential just means you haven't done it yet.  Ringo has a nasty habit of dropping passes that hit him in the hands.

The stats mean nothing.  Anyone watching the game from Mars and knows nothing about football didn't need to see a final score to know we got beat like a red-headed stepchild.

Even the body language was bad.  And I don't mean late in the game.  I mean to START the game. Where was the fire.  The excitement?

Ever since the vaunted 2022 class of offense lineman arrived, all we heard was a narrative about how good the offensive line was..............but was it EVER that good?

Kelvin Banks was awesome but who else?

In 2024, we had an experienced line and that is more valuable than people realize (aggies will probably prove that this year).  But was it great?  Hell no.  They couldn't get push in short yardage / goal line situations and when they faced elite defensive lines (Georgia, Ohio State) they were clearly over matched.

I've defended Flood on here before but the more I think about, I'm usually using draft picks to justify the defense.  But was the on field product EVER that good?

Sark is going to have to let Flood go after this season.  I would love to be wrong but there is ZERO reason we can't have at least an average offensive line.  This is coaching.

I agree.   It is time for a change.  I think a lot of the issues up front are simple personnel problems.   The complacency in recruiting along the OL is what has bothered me the most.  And it’s happening again in the 2026 recruiting class.  Turntine is good, the rest seem average.

Really missing last years leadership on the OL. Jake Majors and Kelvin Banks were such captains.

Watching the MS ST game and Shapen is getting hit left and right and just grilled the OL on the sideline. I want to see that kind of accountability.

I for one was really proud of Arch . He made some errant throws. But he made more amazing throws also . I was extremely pleased with his  composure & his running ability. Seemed like our offensive line needs a reboot. Unless we get better, much better we won’t be in CFP’s i don’t think . Haven’t seen us play this poorly in a very long time. We made so many mistakes . we were so undisciplined . I know our players played hard & did their very best. It’s easy to place blame. That serves no positive purpose. I just hope our coaches can work with the team on eliminating undisciplined penalties. I hope our players show more discipline against Oklahoma next saturday. If not it’s going to be another long day.

it definitely felt is arky game. We went on the road and were not prepared for the physicality of football, not just SEC football but big12 football. this team, coming of the bye just did not show like it gave a sh!t and got b!tch slapped by a below avg florida team. florida scored 10 vs Lsu, 7 vs miami and 16 vs USF all of a sudden can run at will and 1 WR back makes everyone including a below avg playing QB look like he is going to ask to up his NIL deal. I know we are "2 plays away" but it looked like we got beaten up in the alley. We could play another 4 quarters and we are still not winning this game. Very disappointing that both line got beat repeatedly.

Arch was our best and most game player today.

Criminals suck, so I don't care if we beat them. Just didn't show up. No excuse for that.

Even if they were to lose, the fact that they're losing this way where the games aren't even fun to watch has been painstakingly brutal. I can't stand the lack of simplicity and that everything this offense does, even when successful, is overwhelmingly complex at least from an execution standpoint for these kids.  I'm a Keep It Simple Stupid guy.

Next week will tell the tell, This team can either comeout next week pissed off and full of fire after getting embarrassed and humiliated and kick some sooner butts or they can keep doing the same weak ass junk we saw today and show the world they are frauds

Agree, it’s like we watched them kick punched in the nuts and just roll over and ask for more. We didn’t even look like we wanted to play on defense. If Manny is really that big of a piece then we have huge issues on defense too. I couldn’t agree more that the complete lack of creativity to get pressure on Lagway is criminal. You can’t tell me we have that much speed, size, and talent in our front 7 and secondary and can’t get after him all damn day. I’m astounded we aren’t able to get in the backfield and bully these teams, any team. PK has earned our trust but this season it just seems like we’re playing unprepared uninspired football.

Serves no constructive purpose to play the blame game in my opinion. But you absolutely are entitled to your opinion.

Jeff, what the hell happened to the offensive identity?

This is nothing like last year’s offense. I know personnel is different, what what are we doing. No motion, no RB involved in pass game, no intermediate game. Basically throwing deep hoping for explosives. It’s unbelievable. Sark has abandoned a proven system.

That defensive display was nut numbing. It's like they all agreed to pansy they're way through.
