What schools make sense for Brian Kelly?

Penn State?

Arkansas?

Virginia Tech?

UCLA?

Penn State, imo. Despite what people think of him, he's won more than he's lost in his tenure. I think he fits more at Penn State than he ever did at LSU.

Gerry coming back to be with Bobby was one of the main reasons I came to OTF after the first split.

Same that’s the only reason I left IT. But Bobby needs to apologize to me or I won’t sub anymore

Delusional fan base. It also seemed like a poor fit from the get go and I never understood why he left ND. Maybe PSU will give him a look.

It will piss off the Penn State fans but that is probably the best they will get. LSU and Florida are better jobs.

The only issue is Brian Kelly is basically James Franklin part 2.

I think Kenny Dillingham would be an interesting name for one of the openings. A little riskier but I think he will succeed wherever he goes.

I think the crazy wealth that has been created in this country with AI (and related industries) and Crypto over the last decade is underrated.

The number of rich people connected to college football grew quite a bit I think.

Totally agree. The stock market has tripled in ten years.

Most of it not clean money.

Which is the better job, Florida or LSU?

I think Florida. With the game now, they have better NIL, more fertile recruiting ground in Florida, Georgia, the Carolina's, Alabama, etc.

LSU is still good but I don't think it's better than Florida right now.

If Marcus Freeman ends up at LSU. The SEC will be on notice…..

I doubt he leaves ND tbh. Easier route to the playoffs, he's got a good Fr QB who he seems to be behind and he's recruiting at a high level. These teams will tempt him, but I think he stats put.

Not for long, they are joining the big ten possibly as early as 2028

Penn state he is a mid west coach all the way in my opinion

He’s a great fit for Northwestern or Purdue. Where you can win…or lose and the fan base knows you still play football. Most of them do anyway.

Honestly, I think Purdue has a really good HC, the guy from UNLV who had that program humming. Despite their record this year, they look much improved from the past few years.

LSU and I don't think it's close.

Ten years ago, and I would agree with that.  In today's landscape, Florida has a bigger denominator in the only metric that counts - $$$.  LSU faces a different landscape now; all programs can do what they've been doing for years.
