Triplettjoseph Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Maybe an unpopular opinion, but even if we somehow make it in, this team isn’t a true national contender and we should be honest with ourselves about that. If we end up as the first or second team out, we at least carry some momentum into the offseason, and the staff gets valuable time to evaluate needed changes. That extra time could help us set up for success going into 2026 and beyond especially when it comes to coaching and roster adjustments. Sark already has a lot on his plate, so missing out this year might actually be a blessing in disguise. 1 Quote

Brian Richardson Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Nobody - save Georgia - would want to face Texas in the playoffs. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 33 minutes ago Moderators Posted 33 minutes ago You’ll take making the NCAA Tournament and a first-round exit over winning the NIT every day of the week and twice on Sunday. So, yes, you’d rather be the first team eliminated from the CFP than the Citrus Bowl champions. 1 Quote
