  1. Will FSU have anyone left? This would be like decommit no. 15.
  2. Updated link. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16948643/67337b152f605b1dfdc20bae
  3. He’s a guy who plays year one. Not unlike Wingo IMO.
  4. Don’t think he’d be a target.
  5. To be fair, I don’t think the calls in question yesterday were made individually by Mar. It’s been his crew, not him personally, who has had repeated issues.
  6. I think Gerry’s done a fine job of discussing his pov. For me, you asked about my general dismissal of Quinn’s injury and my expectation for relatively weak offensive output. First, I just don’t buy the injury being a major factor at this point. I certainly didn’t buy it against Vanderbilt and I didn’t against OU or Georgie either. If you’re good enough to play, then you play. And Quinn’s injury - one to his oblique - didn’t cause his real issues in those games, which was his lack of feel for the game and movement in the pocket. His oblique does not or should not effect his feet, not like what we saw any way. As for expectations of Texas scoring, I admit I was off by some there. But what am I supposed to do when basically the previous two games Texas scored 15 and 27 points? Even with their injuries, I think Florida has more talent on D than Vandy. But perhaps I discounted Vandy’s scheme somewhat. And I think Sark also opted not to use as many squeeze splits against Florida. That’s part of the equation that I didn’t account for, too.
  7. Nice! They beat South Carolina.
  8. 1. Officiating comes with national oversight rather than conference by conference. And it comes with a relegation system for good and bad refs. Replay is also sped up and centralized. 2. Two major leagues or superconferences, like the NFC and AFC. 3. Allow NIL contracts to be multi-year with limitations surrounding transfers/portal and commensurate benefits given to athletes. Stop trying to further regulate NIL. Let the free market determine what that looks like. 4. Expand the playoff to 16 teams. And if teams can have 105 scholarships, lengthen the season by 1-2 games and start play a week earlier in August. 5. Move non-major conferences to spring football. Give those players a better chance to play into a larger school or conference. The NCAA balks at this partially because of the NCAA basketball tourney. Just some ideas to ponder…
  9. If you’re the czar of college football, what are the five things you fix first?
  10. Cole made a tremendous open-field block on Wisner’s touchdown catch-and-run!
  11. It is truly amazing how infrequently Texas has played teams in the SEC. Vandy was pre-WWII and the last time for Florida was before Pearl Harbor.
  12. Would prefer SMU in first round. Texas wouldn't lose to Miami.
  13. Hearing Skip Holtz for this job.
  14. That’s awesome! It’s good stuff. Spread the word!
  15. Texas has to do what it does best. They have to execute. There are other ways around the blitzing A&M deployed last night. The route to the tight end is one of those. The RBs killed A&M in the passing game. Lots of ways to get it done. It will be about executing at a high level on O. The problem is, we have not seen that of late IMO.
  16. Yep. Hamstring. Looked bad.
  17. A leopard doesn’t change its spots.
  18. SEC championship is a nice thing. CFP is the goal.
  19. Auburn and USC are the two teams Gerry has continually said to look out for in that recruitment.
  20. Only my wife would put these up!
  21. Love that Coach Terry joined us. It's a very promising season, especially if what we're hearing behind the scenes on Tre Johnson proves legit.
  22. I wonder if they ultimately move this game from San Antonio with the new sponsor.
  23. We shall see. I wouldn’t be headed to Michigan if I were an offensive player right now.
