    Texas has very little depth at LB IMO. And could have less than you think when portal opens.

    His overall knowledge of college football is dropping as he pays more and more attention to the NFL. Can’t do all of what he’s doing and not expect that. The constant mention of Goosby as playing for Georgia is indicative of that.

    Context matters. Texas turned heavily to the run in all of those games because they were up. And I had no problem with it. The primary difference this week was the run game was nowhere to be found. Quinn had at least three throws to the end zone that could have won that game for Texas. He didn’t connect on them. He has to be better.

    Texas really wants to be 5 or 6.

    My best guess is ACC is 11 and 12. Texas-SMU, Penn State-Clemson and Notre Dame-Indiana. 5 v 12, 6 v 11, and 7 v 10. There is precedent for still ranking a team like SMU that lost to Clemson higher than who they lost to.

    BTW - I’m sure no one is more disappointed with letting the team down than Bert himself. Just remember that.
