    Yeah, when I compare our resume to Xavier, I’m lost as to how they are considered to be ahead of us. They are 2-9 in Quad 1 games, and their top 4 non-conference opponents are nearly identically ranked as our top 4 non-conference opponents based on NET rankings. The only difference is the overall records. Texas is 8-10 spots higher than Xavier in NET, and above them in WAB.

    Yeah, I think with Boise State beating UNM, we may now be the last team out. To make matters worse, if Colorado State beats Utah State (they are up 9 pts early) that will set up a situation where the winner of Boise vs Colorado State automatically gets into the tournament. Both of these teams were behind Texas starting play today (according to Lunardi), so this may be the bid steal that dooms Texas. Assuming the above, I think the final Play-In spot is now between UNC and Texas. The fact that UNC made it a competitive game against Duke in the second half may change committee perceptions (from the dreadful first half for UNC). Aside from this Boise vs Colorado St scenario, Texas needs to be aware of North Texas upsetting Memphis in the AAC tourney, which would also be a bid steal that may doom Texas.

    Does the fact that we have Tennessee a decent game while UNC is getting blown out of the gym matter in the calculations? UNC may lose by 30 to a Duke team without their best player.

    OU, Indiana, Xavier, and SD State all losing (while Texas wins over a highly ranked team) is just about a perfect day in Bubbleland.

    I’d assume it’s a DL. USC is pushing “Coach Henny” (LOL), and USC focused on DL with their early stage NIL giveaway last cycle too. Plus, the state of California grows far fewer elite DL prospects than the SEC footprint, so they’ve got to make outsized NIL promises to address the talent shortfall.

    Parks was arrested on Sunday, March 2, and charged the following day (March 3). He had been hired by LSU in February. The incident took place on Dec 17, in Oregon, while Parks was on the Ducks staff.

    Well, obviously, because LSU would have no idea that a staffer they hired would later be charged for choking his lady while employed at Oregon. But other than that… I guess Texas should’ve turned away Chris Beard and Xavier Worthy for being charged with beating up / choking their ladies as well? If only Texas had turned them away for character issues…like a good organization.

    So, your theory is LSU intentionally hired a low level staffer knowing that he would be eventually charged by Oregon police for choking his lady? Or is your theory that LSU has sources placed in the Lane County, Oregon District Attorney’s office to monitor pending investigations and possible criminal charges being filed? Whichever, it’s an interesting theory.

    Well, our scoring problems continued again tonight against Tech. We only managed to score a TD and an FG for 10 points.

    The only good thing about Helm’s 40 time is the entire TE group ran much slower than previous years at the Combine. Only two TEs in the entire group went sub 4.7. Last year that number was 8.

    Bo has been a lazy recruiter for the last 4 years, and banking paychecks along the way. Now, he gets a new NFL paycheck and doesn’t even have to recruit any more. It’s good work if you can get it.
