Guys most teams in the lottery are bad teams.

Obviously injuries are a concern, but I think they know that. He can take over if you want him to, but is fine passing to the hot hand.

The problem is “what school” is qualified to determine a players worth? They are not qualified to do so, neither is a clearing house or database.

Basketball is a revenue sport and getting Toppin last year paid off big time. Many people thought they were crazy. They just gave him another four million. These guys really want to win. A billionaire can do anything he wants. He seems to want Tech to be great in everything, but I don’t think that’s possible. It will never work in football. Talking about paying for twenty two starters and their second team (in case of injury), will never happen. What’s funny is that is how much money it takes to get athletes to go to Lubbock. It literally takes millions to get one player to go there.

The game is constantly evolving. Players are more developed. The regular standard (Princeton offense) has gone away. Forwards and centers have developed guard skills. You want to get into who goes harder in a game? Check out some European leagues. All they know is going hard. Did you expect players to never attempt to learn other skills besides low post play? There are European offenses in basketball at the NBA level and College level. I don’t see pansies when I look at Joker, Luka, etc. The game will continue to evolve.

Love Pop and will miss him immensely. Great coach, respected by all who played for him or against him. I find it hypocritical that he shouldn’t be allowed to express his own thoughts on the world but we can. Who is allowed to speak on world events? Is there a list? Who’s on it? What qualifies somebody to speak on world events? He doesn’t lose his right to speak because he’s involved in sports. POP answered difficult questions about today’s world. They asked and he answered. Don’t ask him if you don’t want an answer. NBA is doing just fine, despite all attempts to weaken it because some people don’t like what certain players say. Interesting that those same people, and so called news channels, seem to love them when they say something they agree with. Pop calls it like he sees it. Do I agree with everything he’s said?
