  1. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but if we can use some of these plus size athletes (Terry, Townsend, Winston) in two back sets and out wide ala Debo Samuel’s hunting mismatches that is exciting. I could go for some more positionless football.
  2. I’m talking about using tight ends more like fullbacks. Lead blocking and power running. That’s not a stretch. 🤷
  3. Some fixes for the redzone/goaline ?
  4. Eric Metcalf football BMW basketball
  5. Offensive and Defensive lineman also have the longest developmental curve of any position and sometimes breakout in their latter years. So you never know. Soccer player that is relatively new to football (like Christian Jones) that has OK stats (not great in his first years like Sweat) might just trend up in his final years with development and good coaching. He was also behind NFL players on a national championship team at tOSU. Context matters
  6. Check on. I’m a terrible speller of even the simplest words, and no disrespect to Mukuba. I have a foreign name and I experience it being mispronounced and misspelled a lot.
  7. Sorry, Mukuba. You have a lot of time? You should change your name to spell police.
  8. I agree, but turning around and scoring so fast the next drive was nice too. Then the Makuba INT to seal it. We said, that was cute, but get back down where you belong Big 12.
  9. Love the storm trooper icy whites though.
  10. What a great acquisition. Listened to the blitz from the start (the UT football dark years). Cant wait for the Oline insight and baseball knowledge! Welcome Jeff.
  11. But it’s one a lot might disagree with.
  12. I think Florida will be our toughest in season game next year, (provided Lagway is healthy).
  13. We don’t need cornerbacks! Take one you lose one.
  14. Maybe we gave the blueprint to defense against Jeremiah Smith! I do think Ohio State has more avenue's to victory, but I like the Nortre Dame coach.
  15. Catholics vs Cornhicks ! I'm for Notre Dame
  16. Reunite the blitz! Would be historic, and take OTF over 100,000.
  17. Hutson, DJ, Robertson, Neto, Agbo, Goosby, Cojoe, Baker, and Chatman all have game experience. They have rotated a little
  18. So bummed about Longhorn network. Won’t really feel the loss until this baseball season. Felt it a little in Volleyball.
  19. Nope, didn’t say that either. Helm was a great player, just wondered why we didn’t use Niblack more, because he is a home run threat with his speed. Someone answered above and said he didn't block. I pointed out neither did Helm, so that didn’t answer my question, then someone pointed out that he didn’t know playbook, that did answer my question. It was over. Then the dicks like you come in that don’t read, so I have to type all this.
  20. Yeah, never said his blocking was good, we just don’t have a good blocking tight end. So let’s throw them some passes. Especially to the fastest ones.
  21. That makes sense. Maybe he can do both, bulk up and learn the playbook.
  22. Again, I’m sure it’s his size (Niblack) and maybe he can bulk up and get to where they need him, but a missed block is a missed block. I saw Gunnar Helm standing straight up a lot after a busted play this year and his man making the tackle in the backfield or near the line of scrimmage. Again, don’t want to talk down a great player for the university, he added way more than he messed up, but he was a liability as a blocker. And ai do realize a 5tool TE is like finding a unicorn, so let’s get them a rotation and some run and see who flies.
  23. I don’t get this. I’m not behind the scenes, but play the talent. Amari Niblack should have gotten more run. Gunnar Helm was great, but his blocking was and is very suspect. I don’t care, he is a good player and we didn’t have anyone better to block unless we used the 6 line package (which we should have). He could catch, but so could some other tight ends.
