Moderators Jeff Howe Posted May 2 Moderators Posted May 2 I love his fit in Sark's zone running game because of his patience and ability to explode up the field once he lets things unfold in front of him: 13 Quote
Joe Zura Posted May 2 Posted May 2 The real question is can he play LG kidding. Looking forward to see what he can do jefe 4 Quote
watty7796 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 His short area quickness/ explosion out of the cut are elite. The only things I saw critique wise is he will have to cover the ball up better in SEC play. He will also have to get behind his pads. He runs a little high. He is definitely a Sark specialty type of back with good hands. Quote
Califashorn75 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 His offensive line opened up some holes. Who is their o-line coach? 😁 2 Quote
AusMOJO Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Biggest thing for the RB's this year, will be if the OL can open holes/lanes for them to cut back up into. They struggled a lot last year with that and even creating a pocket at times. But I do love what he brings to the table and the 1/2 punch of him and the guy we got from Arizona State is exciting. Plus even the talent behind them. 1 Quote
Bunk Moreland Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I am not trying to be overly critical, but I have never quite gotten the hype. He is explosive compared to his level of competition, but I’ve never seen him match the burst and top-end speed in a vacuum of a Jaydon Blue or even Raleek Brown. I hope I’m just missing something very obvious with him, and obviously the stats and accolades clearly might point to me being way off. It’s just my lying eyes, I guess. Quote

He won’t see this daylight or outrun people this often but he would have been rb1 last year for us. He may not go 60 but I’ll definitely take (5)-(15) yards vs the (-2)-(3) of last year. Here for the Wins Posted May 3 Posted May 3 His final 6 games he ran for 246 yards on 60 carries, 1 TD. Over that time, he had 16 catches for 65 yards. He had 92 yards on two carries during that time. Only 4 runs of 10+ yards during that span. That was against 3 very good to better defenses, 1 average defense, and one poor defense. No idea how those games played out, but you’ll likely find his floor in them. Quote
