Sure. But SEC arms are a little different than the Big West. 38 of 41 hits in 2026 were singles. I will say having more walks than strikeouts is a fantastic trait. Would be fine in the 9-hole to lead into the top of the order for Pack, Armstrong, Solitaria, Rodriguez. Though I suspect there’s another OF addition and we see him essentially as the 4th OF option.

This take strikes me as a 4th outfielder option.

Yes. That’s more of what I mean. Balanced 1–9 power. Doesn’t even need to be HR, but extra base hit ability. Something that isn’t super predictable to pitch against.

I tend to agree. A good ole fashioned contact speedster from the bottom of the order who can play all 3 spots in the outfield.
