    Spoke to a coach just now who told me they played against Peyton Houston in 7v7 this spring who came away amazed at his arm talent. This coach said Houston, in two days of competition, had maybe a handful of incompletions the entire weekend. Precise, on time and creative was the way his performance was described. The coach added that Houston was one of the top arms he had seen in a few years.

    We’ll see what it turns into for Snell. Texas had been rather absent until his visit in the spring. That has since changed and I expect it to continue to move positively for Texas as the recruitment ages.

    Texas offered Carter back in June of 2024. Though there hasn’t been any communication recently. Carter also has been dealing with a shoulder injury from a year ago.

    I’m a fan of Braylon Lane as a receiver prospect. Plenty of interest filing in this spring as A&M and a handful of others have offered.

    Texas has yet to stop by King this spring. But they are certainly familiar with a number of top prospects here.

    Texas RB Coach Chad Scott had an in-home visit Monday night with Chaminade Madonna College Prep 2026 RB Derrek Cooper. The Longhorns are starting to really make things interesting with the former Georgia commit.

    Texas did well with an IMG Academy RB just two cycles ago. Plus, Chad Scott has recruited Florida already while at WVU.

    2027 RB Tranard Roberts Reports Texas Offer Chad Scott and the Texas Longhorns have extended an offer to 2027 IMG Academy RB Tranard Roberts as of Tuesday evening. Roberts also reported offers from Wofford, Sacramento State and South Carolina all in the span of about 15 minutes. Roberts is ranked as a top-100 player in the country and the No. 6 running back in the country per the Composite.
